Oscar-Winning Schindler’s List Producer Disinvited from Giving Speech at High School Because He’s Too Conservative

Labels: » »
Not a fan of Schindler's List. I felt it was exploitative and gave the Palestinians ground to make a comparison. It failed to show Jews fighting back in any capacity... that said... this pisses me off...
(Volokh) That’s what the Hollywood Reporter reports, stating that school district officials acknowledged the incident and apologized for the principal’s disinvitation decision:
[Gerald Molen] was invited to speak to the graduating class at a Montana high school. But upon arriving, was told by the principal he would not be allowed to deliver the speech he had prepared….
Molen says [Principal Tom] Stack told him straight up that he wouldn’t be allowed to address the students because he was “a right-wing conservative.”
“He said some callers didn’t want the kids exposed to that, despite not knowing what my message would be,” Molen told The Hollywood Reporter….
For the Ronan students, Molen planned to use [Oskar] Schindler as an example of what courageous individuals could accomplish, and he also planned to ask them to “imagine your future is a movie. Forty years from now, you’re writing a script about your accomplishments. What would that script look like?”
“It was a totally apolitical speech,” Molen said….
I should note that I don’t think there’s any First Amendment problem with a school’s inviting or not inviting a guest speaker based on the person’s past political activity — giving such a speech is an honor, and a school might consider a person’s opinions in deciding whether to honor him. Nor do I think that there’s any First Amendment problem with the disinvitation: A school need not delegate the decision about who will speak to the students, or to any particular official, and a principal may undo what lower-level officials have done, or even what he himself had done. (Four Justices have suggested that decisions to stock a book in a school library, once made, can’t be unmade for ideological reasons, but four other Justices disagreed with that, and in any event even the Justices who thought there were limits on library book removal decisions recognized that a school had brought authority to set and change “curriculum” — and I think the invitation of honored guest speakers is a part of that curriculum.) The cancellation might be a breach of contract, though it’s not clear what the damages would be, but not a constitutional violation.
This having been said, it sounds like the cancellation was also a sign of both intolerance and impoliteness, and a poor example to set to students — as the superintendent of schools has acknowledged. The principal is leaving the school and going to work at another school 70 miles away (right around the block by Montana standards, I hear), apparently for reasons unrelated to this incident. I hope that his new employers persuade him to behave better in his new position.
For Molen’s own account of the incident, see here. Thanks to Dan Gifford for the pointer. Note that, notwithstanding the Hollywood Reporter headline, this apparently involved a speech to the graduating class but not a graduation speech (the graduation was apparently June 3, and the Molen incident happened before May 26).
I have a big problem with public tax payer money going to political discretion. I have no problem advocating a matter of taste in art, but we should not tolerate a vibrant political sphere in the United States that is acceptable to half the country as a reason to reject the ideas of it's speaker. That might not be law... but I would do everything I could to push it if it isn't. Rejecting someone because of a broad American term like Conservative is ugly. I'm from a family that might feel likewise about Conservatism, and I believe it is an ugly point of view. That said... I don't like the smell here and I'm guessing this is some Juden Hass going down.

Cairo rally: "One day we'll kill all the Jews"

Labels: » » » » »
(h/t EOZ Yoel)(YNet) A Muslim Brotherhood rally in Cairo's most prominent mosque Friday turned into a venomous anti-Israel protest, with attendants vowing to "one day kill all Jews."
Some 5,000 people joined the rally, called to promote the "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization." The event coincided with the anniversary of the United Nations' partition plan in 1947, which called for the establishment of a Jewish state.
Speakers at the event delivered impassioned, hateful speeches against Israel, slamming the "Zionist occupiers" and the "treacherous Jews." Upon leaving the rally, worshippers were given small flags, with Egypt's flag on one side and the Palestinian flag on the other, as well as maps of Jerusalem's Old City detailing where "Zionists are aiming to change Jerusalem's Muslim character."
Propaganda material ahead of Egypt's parliamentary elections was also handed out at the site.
Spiritual leader Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb charged in his speech that to this day Jews everywhere in the world are seeking to prevent Islamic and Egyptian unity.
"In order to build Egypt, we must be one. Politics is insufficient. Faith in Allah is the basis for everything," he said. "The al-Aqsa Mosque is currently under an offensive by the Jews…we shall not allow the Zionists to Judaize al-Quds (Jerusalem.) We are telling Israel and Europe that we shall not allow even one stone to be moved there."
Muslim Brotherhood spokesmen, as well as Palestinian guest speakers, made explicit calls for Jihad and for liberating the whole of Palestine. Time and again, a Koran quote vowing that "one day we shall kill all the Jews" was uttered at the site. Meanwhile, businessmen in the crowd were urged to invest funds in Jerusalem in order to prevent the acquisition of land and homes by Jews.
Throughout the event, Muslim Brotherhood activists chanted: "Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, judgment day has come."
Egyptian media reported about the rally but did not mention the anti-semitic chants.

Five Muslim Moroccan girls in Belgium beat a 13-year-old classmate, called her a “dirty Jew” and told her to “return to your country.”
The girl, Oceane Sluijzer, has filed a complaint with police after the anti-Semitic attack at a sports training center. The attackers were identified and questioned by police.
Jewish legislator Viviane Teitelbaum of Brussels denounced the “silence” of political leaders and most of media after this attack.
Coordinating Committee of Jewish Organizations of Belgium (CCOJB), the umbrella group of Jewish organizations in Belgium, expressed “shock” at the attack and asked that the investigation be conducted without delay. The Jewish group added it is considering filing a civil suit and said the Jewish community is “exasperated” by repeated attacks on Jews in Belgium, whose Jewish population is 40,000.
It also told the Belgian French community’s Education Minister he should “introduce appropriate educational programs in schools to prevent unjustified tensions between communities,” the European Jewish Press reported.
The Jewish Consistory, the representative body of Jewish religious congregations in the country, also appealed to authorities to take action.

Anti-Semitism at Occupy Wall Street Protest Updated Here

...but my father really did... supposedly control Wall Street this year! ;^) Blame my father LOLZ!

this guy is another homosexual with issues against Jews. he says he is the Lotion Man on youtube. lotion man is jamaican slang, referral to a gay man, who uses lotion to lubricate his backside for anal sex purposes
(Israelly Cool) Someone needs to introduce this man to Lauren Booth. The funny thing is even though he says “Go back to Israel”, he will then claim we have no right to be there.
I like the gay Jew hater there better. His Youtube name was LotionMan (now deleted) and you can google what that means. Somehow it just made me happy that he was getting it where the sun don't shine by someone. I know sodomy isn't kosher unless you are Conservative or Reform, but what came to mind is this guy was getting his sexual jollies this way and I really don't even wish a Jew hater displeasure... though it is sad to say that I know NYC well and I grew up here and frankly what goes on at LGBT is pretty much what you are seeing. I hope I'm very offensive.

Propagandist and lousy musician...
...Juden Rats think Israel
...does not have the right to exist
...
Rich Siegel thanks for connect- plz watch my video, 12 minutes, song followed by 2 short talks http://www.vimeo.com/6630724
Sarah Levine Simon Rich we will have to agree to disagree. Too many Israelis including my friends and relatives have lost their lives at the hands of Palestinian extremist. Wish there was a simple solution but when people want to kill jews and hide behind innocent children, the result is what you sing about.
Rich Siegel
That's pure propaganda. The one's who use children as human shields are the IDF.
Sarah Levine Simon
I disagree!
Rich Siegel
That's fine, but the documented facts are not on your side.
Sarah Levine Simon
I also disagree there. I know the history of the situation. The British are in large part responsible for the creation of situation. and Ha ha! Now their erudite academic institutions would like to prevent Israeli Scholars from lecturing. This is just recycled antisemitism.
Rich Siegel
You can say you know whatever you want, but clearly you don't know. I've been studying the situation for a long time- own a pretty impressive library on the subject- lived there and worked there. So your claim that you know anything is frankly meaningless. You could tell me you know that water is not wet. OK fine- you can think what you want.
Sarah Levine Simon Don't trust every book you collect. Learn to argue without the ad hominem attack. You'll do more to further your agenda right or wrong. Are you a Jew?
Rich Siegel Did you watch the video? It clearly states that I'm a Jew. Circumcised, Hebrew School, bar mitzvah, president of Zionist youth group as a teenager, lived and worked in "Israel" in my 20's- yes I'm a Jew. re: books- I have read BOTH SIDES extensively. And I recommend anyone do this- including you. When one examines both points of view it becomes clear who is obfuscating and who is telling the truth.
Sarah Levine Simon
Frankly, your attempt at sampling put me off. You could be a propagandist plant. Right now you exist in cyberspace for me. I have read both sides and I did make up my mind, so thanks
Rich Siegel
To be fair I'm re-reading what I wrote looking for an ad hominem attack and I'm not finding any. Could you be specific as to what you object to? I believe I'm simply not letting you get away with stating falsehoods. As for your last comment, you can believe what you want. I assure you I am exactly as I represent myself. That's me in the video, I have a new CD coming out soon which will contain relevant material. Also a new book, a sort of political auto-biography, and an essay in a friends book- that book is a collection of essays by Jews who were raised as Zionists and who have become pro-Palestine activists as adults.
Sarah Levine Simon
I'm very troubled by the statement to the effect that when one examines both sides it becomes clear who is obfuscating. You make statements that you never back with facts. If you were in my class I'd flunk you. Moreover, let me tell you something about music. I love Wagner and Wolf, two of the most virulent anti semites that ever existed. Why? Because really good music supercedes dialectic and propaganda. Your are limiting your musical expression to a political idea and you are missing out on a lot of possibility.
Rich Siegel
posted on your wall- my response was too long- was not allowed to post here
Sarah Levine Simon
You can send that to sarah@sarahlevinesimon.com . For me FB is about the music and recipe sharing. I want to address what you are saying but not on FB.
Rich Siegel
OK- but it's on your wall already- won't do it again- you can respond to me at rich@richsiegel.com
Sarah Levine Simon
Good. I removed it from my wall and not because I disagree with you but because I am not using my wall to hold town hall meetings.
Rich Siegel
That's fine, but I can't re-send it as I didn't save it anywhere, so if you read it and care to respond, you can respond to rich@richsiegel.com If not, I'm not going to write it again- I did what you asked, but I'm not going to take the time to write up the same argument twice. Also- your point about limiting musical expression is completely ridiculous. Music has been used to promote human rights causes throughout history. Why should YOU be the one to stop it?! There is power in music- you will see when my CD comes out.
Sarah Levine Simon
I'm not saying stop it, just saying it limits the music to the cause. You could argue that Tosca promotes a human rights agenda and you'd be right, just saying music that's great is timeless and supercedes the issues of the day. And frankly that's why great music endures. Also, If you were so facile in your facts, it would be no bother for you to rewrite your post.
Rich Siegel
"Also, If you were so facile in your facts, it would be no bother for you to rewrite your post." The first really obnoxious thing you wrote was that I exist only in cyber-space. Now this is the 2nd. I'm not sure how you found me. I assume through mutual friends who are involved in music. You are probably re-thinking the advisability of having "friended" me. However, I would say, that if you do want to continue to be "friends" in this format, be respectful and polite. I have no patience for anything else. Thank you.
Sarah Levine Simon Actually you requested my friendship. I don't defriend because I disagree with someone. At the outset, I said, "let's agree to disagree." I also don't dislike my close friends who disagree with me. There's more to life than that. I believe I have been polite and respectful. It is logical to ask if someone exists beyond the cyber persona. Remember the Amanda Chapel debacle on FB. or Ni Personne.
Rich Siegel OK- Honestly I do not remember sending that request. I normally would not send a request to someone I don't know. Your message which asked "let's agree to disagree" also included propaganda nonsense. If you really wanted to let it go at "let's agree to disagree" you would not have included this

German Appeals Court Upholds Conviction for Holocaust Denial

Labels: » » » » » » »
image via The Truth Will Set You Free: U.S. citizen David Duke arrested in Czech Republic on accusation of Holocaust denial wakeupfromyourslumber.blogspot.com
Anywhere in Germany you can not participate in this idea of Holocaust Denial. This means for example if the PM Abu Mazen AKA Abbas were to say in Germany what he says in Judea or Samaria that he would also be held accountable to this German court finding. The intention of the broadcast is irrelevant and the burden of distribution is on the actor. oh BTW Eugene Volokh thinks that this is a threat to Democracy. I wonder if the threat were at Libertarian bloggers if he would feel likewise. Yes... I know... the blogger Eugene is a Jew. A Dhimmi one that I sometimes agree with on other issues.
Deutsche Welle reports that the appeals court upheld the conviction, though lowered the fine (to $9,230) based on the defendant’s income: Williamson had been convicted for inciting hatred, an offense which, under German law, incorporates any claim that the Holocaust did not happen. Williamson was in Germany when he told an interviewer for a Swedish television channel that, although Jews were killed during the Holocaust, the accepted figure of between five and six million was inaccurate, and the Nazis did not use gas chambers. He was convicted in absentia, with a lawyer present on his behalf. Williamson’s lawyer argues that his client’s comments did not breach German law because they were never intended for broadcast in Germany. However, they sprawled globally over Internet video portals and were subsequently picked up by German national media. Judge Birgit Eisvogel ruled that Williamson should have been aware that any such television comments would inevitably find their way around the world, and thus to Germany, also noting Williamson’s own familiarity with the nature of the Internet: “We know that the accused is himself a blogger.”The bishop was at the time an excommunicated Catholic, from “the semi-independent hard-line Society of Saint Pius X,” though the excommunication was lifted in 2009. “Vatican officials say the Pope was unaware of Williamson’s comments when he made the decision.” via volokh.com

EPA will Ban Rat and Mouse Toxic Poisons: For professional use only

Labels: » » » » » » » » » » » » » » »
Trofim Denisovich Lysenko or the great sparrow hunt all over again
Remember when they banned DDT almost 40 year prior because it claimed responsibility for the degeneration of eagles and other birds? Rachel Carson,  made it known through her book called “Silent Spring, a falsification of the effects of DDT.  Thus, the creation of the EPA.   DDT had earlier been hailed as a “miracle” chemical that repelled and killed mosquitoes that carry malaria, a disease that can be fatal to humans. The results from the ban were disastrous: at least 1-2 million people continue to die from malaria each year.  The USA is still plagued by Bed Bugs epidemic because of this ban today.
Now, present the EPA as of Tuesday creating better and healthier living, for children, pets and wildlife will ban the rat and mouse poisons, as well as most loose bait and pellet products  in residential form.
Only a licensed pest control professional will be able to use those poisons that are available for use in residential setting.  In other words, not obtainable to the public any longer.
The pest control lobbyists in Washington made a comeback.
But the EPA has issued a media release with other tips how to stop the invasion of rat and mice.

Now, the inner city children can get bit by rats and mice that plague their dwellings. Let us see what diseases will occur from a new infestation of these rodents.

Juden Rats think Israel does not have the right to exist

Hitler would have loved these sick, radical, leftist Judenrat bastards.

Self-hating Jewish loons from Jewish Voice for Peace held a protest in Chicago against Israel. The protesters believe that Israel does not have a right to exist and that Israel needs to get the F**k out. But they love the people who want to wipe them off the face of the earth – Palestinians. Obama would approve.

“I actually say I hate everybody equally.
I was just poking fun at it.”
The makers of a new Toronto reality TV show have apologized for a controversial online trailer in which one of the program’s characters expresses hatred for Jews, even as two former cast hopefuls allege they felt pressured to make racist and sexualized comments during the audition process.
“Our intention is to make provocative television,” said Maryam Rahimi, executive producer of Lake Shore, a reality series modelled on the successful format of MTV’s popular Jersey Shore. “On one hand, we received a lot of attention, but on the other hand it was not necessarily the kind of attention that we wanted. For the record, we are not a racist show. If we offended anyone in any way, we apologize.”
The show, which has yet to begin filming, became the centre of controversy this week when producers posted a trailer on YouTube in which one of the show’s main characters, 23-year-old Sibel Atlug, tells the audience, “I’m not racist because I hate everybody equally, especially Jewish people.”
Lake Shore will chronicle the lives of these eight twenty-something Torontontians as they live under the same roof, drink, party and sleep with each other. But instead of sharing a common ancestry like the Italian American stars of Jersey Shore, the cast of Lake Shore is multicultural, with each character labelled according to their ethnic backgrounds and who appear to play to cultural stereotypes.
Ms. Atlug joins a colourful cast of seemingly narcissistic loudmouths that includes Joey Violin (‘‘the Italian’’), Anni Mei (“the Vietnamese’’), Tommy Hollywood (“the Czech’’), Arber Dace (“the Albanian’’), Robyn Perza (“the Jew’’), Karolina Czaja (‘‘the Pole’’) and Salem Moussallam (“the Lebanese’’).

Diplomat knocks Frankfurt mayor for honoring anti-Zionist

Labels: » » » » »
as if we didn't know there are always Juden Rats:
In an exclusive interview with The Jerusalem Post, Nahshon said Grosser’s “extreme opinions are tainted by self-hatred.”

The Israeli Embassy has gone on the offensive to counter the growing efforts in Germany to delegitimize the Jewish state.

German governments – including local and regional ones – frequently give anti-Zionist and anti-Israel Jews prizes and speaking engagements to vent criticism of Israel. Last year, then- German president Horst Köhler issued the Federal Merit Cross, one of the country’s most prestigious awards, to Israeli lawyer Felicia Langer, who has equated Israel with Nazi Germany and the South African apartheid regime.

Speaking from France, Grosser, a sociologist, political scientist and historian born to a German- Jewish family in Frankfurt in 1925, told the Post in a telephone interview that he stands by his statement that “criticism of Israel and anti-Semitism have nothing to do with each other.

It is rather Israel’s policies that promote anti-Semitism globally.”

Grosser has compared his treatment by the Nazis in the early 1930s with Israel’s policies toward the Palestinians. His family fled to France in 1933.

The “Palestinians are despised by Israel” and Israel has “no feeling for [the] suffering in Gaza and in the territories,” He told the Post.

“It’s all about understanding the suffering of others,” he said.

“This understanding generally does not exist on the part of Jews.”

Grosser said he plans to “criticize” Israel during his speech on Tuesday and to reference Theodor Herzl in saying that there should be “no discrimination by sex and religion” in Israel.

The speaking invitation has frayed relations between the city of Frankfurt and Germany’s Jewish community. The Central Council of Jews in Germany called for Grosser to be disinvited.

The Frankfurt Jewish community issued a statement, saying, “In recent years, he has represented escalating positions that are unacceptable for us.”

Islamophobia: Not the New Antisemitism

Labels: » » » » » » »
Even as Chancellor Angela Merkel pronounces the failure of "multiculturalism" in Germany, the English-language German newspaper reporter, Marc Young, writing for the English-language German news at The Local, proclaims that "bigotry towards Muslims is the new anti-Semitism."
As the author of a book with the title The New Anti-Semitism (with an edition in German), allow me to remind Mr. Young that one of the things that is "new" about this most ancient of hatreds is that it is pandemic in the Islamic world and in Muslim communities in the West and that the multicultural relativists in the world's universities, media, and political leadership, are collaborating with it in the name of "political correctness."
Thus, what both Young and those who run the state-subsidized Center for Research on Anti-Semitism at the University of Berlin have learned from the Nazi Holocaust is that Europeans should not discriminate against Muslims as they once did against Jews.

German scholar Clemens Heni strongly disagrees:
"There is no other prejudice or form of racism which you can compare to this centuries-long hatred (anti-Semitism) which has no real justification. If you look at Islam today, there is a point to Islamophobia because Jihadists say, 'We want to kill the unbelievers.' Jews never said that. Because as a German I have a responsibility to deal with my own history, and if I see that other Germans want to downplay anti-Semitism and to minimize the threat of Islamic jihad and other forms of anti-Zionism--I think there is something deeply wrong, they didn't learn the lesson from the Holocaust, they are even downplaying the Holocaust itself.
the very root of the word Antisemitism was pseudo science from Germany. It was supposed to be less hateful then the word Juden Hass meaning literally Jew Hate, but it's "science" was based on a genetic assumption of being against the children of Shem (Noah's son in the Torah). The correct term Juden Hass is harder for Muslims to co-opt to their own cause and brings more baggage with millenniums of hate towards specifically Jews. I do not like that the semiotics of Antisemitism has been co-opted as it has, but the best way to avoid this issue is to go back to the original more shocking German wording.

CNN makes Jew Hater Rick Sanchez a scapegoat [UPDATED]

Labels: » » » » » » » »
and yes Rick is a Jew Hater, but so was Ted Turner!
Listen to Sanchez talk about Stewart, Jews and the media:

"Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well,' a CNN statement said.

those powerful Jews are awful scared of speaking out Rick.
it took you spelling it out for everyone for people to get it.

Ironically, the fact that Stewart is so liberal doomed Sanchez since if the high-level executives have any presumption it is that someone on the left could not possibly be racist or bigoted.

Ironically, too, Sanchez is really expressing resentment against an elite that he thinks, not without reason, considers itself to be superior to everyone else. But that isn’t because such people are sometimes Jewish but because they went to prestigious universities, dress and think in a certain way, and so on.

Aside from the fact that he is incompetent, Sanchez does get—and distort—a glimmer of the truth. There is a ruling class in America today but not the fat, top-hatted capitalists of yesteryear but the smug upper middle class controllers of academia, media, non-profit corporations, and government agencies.

When you hear the word “program” these people will be there managing enterprises supposedly to help the poor or feed the hungry while pulling down big salaries, spending the American public’s money, and often doing little good for the aforementioned “good cause.”

As a typical left-leaning media guy, however, Sanchez cannot say that, so instead he grasps onto a once-rightist idea that the Jews are the enemy. Politics has come full circle. The left is the locus of our contemporary Marie Antoinettes who jeer, “Let them eat carrots!” and of those who use antisemitic concepts

so now that it is obvious that Rick Sanchez is a Jew hater... perhaps we can see this so called Israeli narrative is the truth? funny the way time brings out the real story.  do a youtube search on this guy and see some of the crap he said about Israel breaking a seize fire... which turned out not to be true... but he never retracted it.

ORIGINAL POST: CNN's Rick Sanchez made controversial comments on a Sirius radio show Thursday, calling Jon Stewart a "bigot" and saying that CNN and the other networks are all run by Jewish people.

Discussing Stewart with radio host Pete Dominick, Sanchez said that the "Daily Show" host has a limited worldview, and called him a "bigot."

The conversation began with Sanchez decrying "elite, Northeast establishment liberals" who "deep down, when they look at a guy like me, they see a guy automatically who belongs in the second tier, and not the top tier.

"I think to some extent Jon Stewart and [Stephen] Colbert are the same way. I think Jon Stewart's a bigot," he said. "I think he looks at the world through, his mom, who was a school teacher, and his dad, who was a physicist or something like that. Great, I'm so happy that he grew up in a suburban middle class New Jersey home with everything you could ever imagine."
When asked who Stewart is bigoted against, Sanchez said "everybody else who's not like him."

Sanchez would eventually retract the "bigot" claim, settling instead on calling Stewart "prejudicial" and "uninformed."

But he made a larger point when Dominick suggested that Stewart could understand being part of an oppressed minority group because he is Jewish.

Sanchez scoffed at the claim, snickering and suggesting that CNN and the rest of the media is run by Jewish people (from the "Stand Up with Pete Dominick" blog):
Very powerless people... [snickers] He's such a minority, I mean, you know [sarcastically]... Please, what are you kidding? ... I'm telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they -- the people in this country who are Jewish -- are an oppressed minority? Yeah. [sarcastically]
via huffingtonpost.com

I was wondering how long it would take for people to say something.

do a youtube search on this guy and see some of the crap he said about Israel breaking a sieze fire... which turned out not to be true... but he never retracted it.

next to get her ass handed to her.  Christine Amanpour... who already had to leave CNN... probably because the network ratings nose dived.   people know hate when they hear it.

we may not always be able to prove it... but the audience isn't as stupid as Rick thinks they are.  That was why no one was watching.

The lesson here?  you can pick on the Jews... but you can't pick on Jon Stewart because he makes the Zionist bashers laugh.  ...not that Jon Stewart is a supporter of the free world.

The World Hates Jews

Sadly Bill Clinton does not seem to understand that saving Russian Jews from pogroms is essential to the Jewish State.  Instead Clinton makes jokes about jail cells for Russians trying to escape.
and also... apparently Bill Clinton likes to lock up a few Jews himself

but seriously... this is a story that guys like Clinton feel no one's pain about...
The 19-year-old Israeli, Shmuel Tuvol, had come with his brother Refoel to pray at the grave of his Rebbe, whose leadership to this day continues to guide the Chassidic sect.
Memorial candleThe two brothers were staying at a home owned by their family in Kiryat Breslov in Uman, near Rabbi Nachman's tomb, when three Ukrainians began hurling rocks at the victim's car. Shmuel called Refael to help him as he was being pelted with stones, but suddenly found himself stabbed in the chest.
“Refael, they stabbed me in the heart!,” he cried out to his brother, according to a report on the Hareidi site Chaderei Hareidim. The last words he heard his brother say before he lapsed into unconsciousness were: “I'm dying . . .”
Rushing to his aid, Shmuel's brother Refael was also attacked by the gang who beat him severely with a shovel. The three thugs also tried to stab the young Chassid, using the weapon they had used to murder his brother. Despite his injuries, Refael managed to wrest the shovel away, and knocked the knife out of their hands. As they fled, he called for help.
Shmuel was pronounced dead on the operating table after he and his brother were rushed to the local hospital. Refael suffered wounds to the mouth and legs....

Meanwhile, as we wait for a statement on whether or not the Israeli government will continue their Jews-only ban on construction, HAMAS terrorists diminish our joy by firing rockets at our people.  In the Sha'ar HaNegev region, they've been on the receiving end of "10 rockets since Rosh Hashana."
Needless to say, the Perpetually Aggrieved (PA) want the construction ban extended ["Abbas Says Israel Must Choose Between Peace and Settlements"] and just in case that's not sufficient precondition for the "peace" talks "with no preconditions," they're also demanding that Israel release dozens of prisoners.
I think I've seen this movie before.

Hamas burns star of david when arafat met bibi in gaza

Oh, and one last thing.  A bunch of idiotic Jews - from Israel, the UK, Europe and America -  have set sail from Cyprus with "aid" for Hamasniks in the Gaza strip.  They want to show the world that not ALL Jews support Israel.
With relatives like this, who needs enemies?
What can we do, but acknowledge the lesson of a sukkah, that life is temporary and the only safety to be had is in keeping the faith... that gam zu l'tovah ~ Everything is {somehow} for the Good.
Read the sad Conclusion in the link.

I'm thinking the way to cure Bill Clinton of the racism he feels against Russian Jews is to send him another one of our liberal Jewish girls to give him pizza again.

It turns out that Obama told him to leave because he didn’t want Netanyahu to use the White House as a stage on which to present Israel’s side of the ‘flotilla’ story.
And here we were told  it was Netanyahu who made the decision to cancel his trip to Washington in the wake of the Gaza Flotilla incident. Should have known.
In the hubbub surrounding the “battle of the flotilla,” Netanyahu’s quick reversal of his decision to remain in the United States has been largely ignored. It turns out that Obama told him to leave because he didn’t want Netanyahu to use the White House as a stage on which to present Israel’s side of the story.
The flotilla violence caught Netanyahu in the midst of a diplomatic trip to North America. He was in the Canadian capital of Ottawa at the time, about to leave for Washington for a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama. The meeting was to have been a way for Obama to make up for the humiliation he dealt Netanyahu on his last visit, when he refused to be seen with the Israeli leader in public.

Netanyahu announced immediately after the flotilla news broke that he would remain in North America and would meet with Obama as scheduled. However, within minutes after media reported Netanyahu would continue with his trip as scheduled, he abruptly announced a change of plan and set off immediately for Israel to “deal with the flotilla crisis.”

Behind the scenes, it was Obama officials who caused the turnabout. Globes cites sources in both Jerusalem and Washington who say that Obama officials gave a clear message to Netanyahu’s people: “Don’t come.”

Officials in both Washington and Jerusalem deny that this was the case.

Some sources said that it was precisely the high-profile nature of the visit that scared the Americans. The White House did not wish Obama to be seen sharing the stage with the leader of the country that was under international attack for having “attacked peace activists.”

Netanyahu, for his part, was looking forward to explaining to the world from Washington that the violent activists on the boat in question were “terror activists” with ties to Hamas and Al-Qaeda, who attempted to lynch the minimally-armed soldiers as they rappelled down down their helicopter.

Zuckerberg the Juden Rat

Recently Shimon Peres suggested that Israelis and Jews worldwide use Facebook to fight anti-semitism in addition to inviting Mark Zuckerberg to Israel. I asked him about his thoughts on Facebook as a tool to fight anti-semitism and if Facebook would take proactive measures to fight against it. Mark believes that Facebook needs to focus on building useful communication tools and that the users can use these tools to connect and generate more worldly perspectives. As such Facebook does not need to be proactive about it. When asked about whether he will visit Israel next year, he said maybe. from: allfacebook.com via thejidf.org
facebook.jpgThe Internet is very shocked and upset that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was kind of weird and also creepy, back in college. Specifically, according to Business Insider, Zuckerberg used Facebook to get the email passwords of two Harvard Crimson reporters who were running a potentially damaging story about how Zuckerberg maybe stole ideas from these other two social network entrepreneurs. Business Insider is reporting that “he examined a log of failed logins to see if any of the Crimson members had ever entered an incorrect password into TheFacebook.com. If the cases in which they had entered failed logins, Mark tried to use them to access the Crimson members’ Harvard email accounts. He successfully accessed two of them.”
What he found was that the reporters thought he was kind of weird and creepy:
From: Elisabeth Susan Theodore To: Timothy John McGinn Subject: Re: Follow-up
OK, he did seem very sleazy. And I thought that some of his answers to the questions were not very direct or open. I also thought that his reaction to the website was very very weird. But, even if it's true so what? It's an [redacted] thing not odd but it's not illegal, right?
So, in other words, some sleazy dude used Facebook to violate the privacy of some people he disliked. Has Facebook ever been used for any other purpose?

J Rats

Freedom has become a very loose term, now used by the Left to attack every principle of our free society. It is now clear that the degenerate Israeli, mostly the Leftist, "progressive," elite academia is on rampage to attack the country from which it operates.
The worst case is when Jews go against other Jews . I call such doubtful Jews, unJews.
The unJew organizations, such as J Street and J-Call as well as individuals such as Shlomo Sand, Neve Gordon, and Gershon Baskin, Tel Aviv University president, Professor Joseph Klafter and the like, can all be lumped into one new "J" name, this time, "J Rats", a name derives from the derogative term Judenrat.
For those who are not familiar with the meaning of the term Judenrat, plural Judenräte, in the German language its meaning is "Jewish council." These were administrative bodies Nazi Germans required of the Jews to form in the German occupied territory of Poland and later in the occupied territories of the Russia/Soviet Union. The Judenrat served as a liaison between the Nazi German occupying authorities and the Jewish communities under occupation. The Judenrat operated pre-existing Jewish communal properties such as hospitals, soup kitchens, day care centers, and vocational schools. Though in a number of cases, such as the Minsk Ghetto and Lachwa Ghetto, Judenrats cooperated with the Resistance Movement, in most other cases, Judenrats collaborated with the Nazis, on the basis that cooperation might save the lives of the ghetto inhabitants, more so to save their lives only. Therefore, the word Judenrat attained derogative connotation.
In their false claim to be helping the State of Israel, or along their thinking that the State should adopt their suggested policy, J-Rats collaborate with and aid and abet Israel's enemies. Such ongoing efforts subvert the State and derail its sovereignty.
