Several armed groups belonging to Fatah in the Gaza Strip claimed Saturday that they had also fired various types of rockets and missiles at Israel during Operation Pillar of Defense.
A spokesman for the groups, which are affiliated with Fatah’s armed wing, the Aksa Martyrs’ Brigade, told reporters that his men fired 516 rockets and missiles at Israel during the conflict.
The spokesman warned that the Fatah groups would “continue to defend the heroic Palestinian people against Israeli crimes and massacres.”
According to the spokesman, Fatah gunmen fought alongside members of other groups in the Gaza Strip during the recent escalation.
He urged Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal to “head immediately to the Gaza Strip to put an end to the state of despicable state of division [between Hamas and Fatah].”

The Fatah groups also “welcomed” last week’s terror attack against a civilian bus in Tel Aviv, in which 28 people were hospitalized.
The masked Fatah spokesman revealed that a member of his group, Mohamed al-Zaini, who was responsible for launching rockets and missiles at Israel, was killed in an IDF air strike.
Abbas Zaki, a member of the Fatah Central Committee, was quoted over the weekend as praising Hamas and Islamic Jihad for “deciding to die for the sake of the Gaza Strip.”
Zaki said in an interview with a Palestinian TV station in the West Bank that Abbas was not against the “resistance” in the Gaza Strip.
“We gave legitimacy to the rockets and provided them with a political cover,” he added. “I have tremendous sympathy for Hamas. God bless them. They told Israel that the war was not a picnic. God bless Hamas and Islamic Jihad and all the other resistance groups which decided to die for the sake of the Gaza Strip.”

Sex scandal, 'Palestinian' style

Labels: » » » » » » » » » »
'Moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen has put the kaboshes on an investigation into a sex scandal involving one of his ministers until he returns from the United Nations General Assembly in New York (where he is due to speak on Thursday). The 'Palestinians' are already accusing 'people opposed to our statehood bid' of being behind the scandal, even though Abu Mazen has supposedly promised President Obama that he would not bring up the statehood bid until after the US elections on November 6.
Mahmoud al-Aloul, a member of the Fatah Central Committee, said the scandal was part of a scheme designed to foil Abbas’s renewed statehood bid.
Ghazali quoted Abbas as telling two senior PA officials who presented him with details of the sex scandal as saying: “Close the case until I return from the US because this is a sensitive time and we are facing elections. If the public learns about it, we will lose the presidential and municipal election. We already have enough scandals and don’t need more.”
The scandal erupted after a Palestinian woman complained that Hussein Sheikh, a top Fatah official who serves as PA Civilian Affairs Minister, harassed her sexually and tried to bribe her and her husband.
The woman, who works in Sheikh’s ministry, said the minister summoned her to his office on the pretext that he wanted her to help fix a computer.
Ghazali said that the woman, who is married and has two children, spat in the minister’s face after he tried to force himself on her while the two were alone in his office.
According to Ghazali, the minister later sent her a number of SMS messages to her mobile phone in which he continued to harass her sexually.
The woman’s husband, Ahmed Abu Alam, 30, also works in the ministry and is a former commander of Fatah’s armed wing, the Aksa Martyrs Brigades.
Upon hearing from his wife about Sheikh’s behavior, the furious husband stormed the minister’s office carrying a pistol, but did not find him, Ghazali said.
According to the investigative journalist, Sheikh later offered the husband $10,000 and a promise of promotion for him and his wife in return for their silence.
Abu Alam said he and his wife filed a complaint against Sheikh with various PA security forces in Ramallah and members of the Fatah Central Committee, but to no avail.
He added that he also provided the security forces and Fatah leaders with evidence implicating the minister, including the text messages and the cash.
The husband said that he and his wife have since been facing a campaign of threats and intimidation to force them to withdraw their complaint.
Last week, Abu Alam and his two brothers, Nasser and Muhammad, were detained for four hours by the PA’s Military Intelligence Force in Ramallah.
Upon his release, Abu Alam went to Abbas’s office and demanded to talk to the PA president. “I was told that he had traveled to the US,” the husband said.
The Abu Alam's have fled to Jordan. A curse on their house and Sheikh's. Heh.

No Boom Boom?: Failed suicide bomber complains that Fatah isn't paying for her surgery

Labels: » » » » »
(EOZ) From ITIC: In the early morning hours of June 20, 2005, a 21-year-old Palestinian female suicide bomber arrived at the Erez crossing in the Gaza Strip, wearing (extra) stockings that contained approximately 20 lbs. of explosives. The female terrorist, who aroused the suspicion of the Israeli security forces, was taken to a security check during which the explosive stockings were uncovered. She att em pted several times to detonate herself at the crossing and, having been unsuccessful, was brought to questioning.
The arrested suicide bomber is Wafa Samir Ibrahim al-Bass, a resident of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, born in 1984. In her questioning, she admitted to being affiliated with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades (Fatah's operative wing). She also stated that she had been dispatched by the organization's infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip to carry out a suicide bombing attack in an Israeli hospital, with the intention of killing Israeli civilians. In an interview granted to a Channel 10 reporter, Wafa al-Bass pointed out that ever since she was a little girl, her dream had been, and still was, to be a shahid (“martyr”) and die for Allah's sake (Israeli TV's Channel 10, June 20, 2005) She was being treated in Soroka Hospital for severe burns from a previous gas explosion accident. Last year she was released in the Shalit deal. Now, Wafa al-Bass is complaining to an Islamic Jihad newspaper that she injured herself while trying to explode herself in 2005, and she needs surgery that would cost 16,000 shekels - and Fatah isn't willing to pay for it! (As far as I know, there was no explosion, so it is unclear how injured she could have gotten while trying to detonate herself.) Not only that, but while other terror groups have been giving jobs to former prisoners, Fatah hasn't offered her anything. She says that she is being treated with negligence and neglect as she gave her blood and years of her life to the cause.
Maybe Fatah isn't paying because she is such a failure. After all, if she had managed to blow herself up in Erez, they wouldn't owe her a thing.
I'm smirking. that was the girl who was trying to kill her doctor.

the taqqiya is getting a little more complicated. so get this... this guy is with the religious Hamas opinion that no land can be compromised to those who are not with Islam, but the war won't happen untill their Mahji comes or the Jewish messiah comes... so they should all live in peace. of course that isn't what the Quran says at all, but that is the bullshit part. I'm surprised this trick was never tried before.
(Nadav Shragaivia israelhayom.com) Hebron strongman Sheik Farid Khader el-Ja’abari is one of the Palestinian Authority's most outspoken opponents • He rejects the idea of a Palestinian state and keeps close contact with the IDF and Jewish settlers.

Freed would-be suicide bomber Wafa al-Biss tells Gaza kids to be like her

Labels: » » » » »
Israel freed an idiot that couldn't get her bomb working. She wanted to kill the doctor that was trying to save her life. Talk about libidinal... attack the male who cares about your silly vain self.
(EOZ) Ynet reports:"A would-be Palestinian suicide bomber freed by Israel in the prisoner swap for soldier Gilad Shalit told cheering schoolchildren in the Gaza Strip the day after her release on Wednesday she hoped they would follow her example.<"I hope you will walk the same path we took and God willing, we will see some of you as martyrs," Wafa al-Biss told dozens of children who came to her home in the northern Gaza Strip.
Biss was travelling to Beersheba's Soroka hospital for medical treatment in 2005 when Israeli soldiers at the Erez border crossing noticed she was walking strangely. They found 10 kgs (22 lbs) of explosives had been sewn into her underwear.
A member of al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an offshoot of President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party, Biss was sentenced to a 12-year term for planning to blow herself up.After she spoke, the children cheered and waved Palestinian flags and chanted: "We will give souls and blood to redeem the prisoners. We will give souls and blood for you, Palestine." In case you forgot who she is:

Shooting al-Aqsa

Explosive composition.
It's Rememberance Day in Israel today, and the wire services are full of solemn memorial services to the Israeli victims of terrorism [Ed.:--Corrected w/ apologies for the mix-up]. Including this shot, taken by AP stringer Sebastian Scheiner:
With the Dome of the Rock Mosque in the background, Israeli soldiers empty their rifles after a ceremony for Israel's annual Memorial Day at a military cemetery on the Mount of Olives, overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem, Monday, May 9, 2011. Israel marked its Memorial Day for fallen soldiers and victims of militant attacks Monday, with ceremonies and a wailing siren that brought the country to a standstill in two minutes of silence. (AP Photo/Sebestian Scheiner)
Notice the composition carefully -- The soldiers, firing their rifles in rememberance of those who lost their lives to terrorists over the years, are superimposed over the golden Dome of the Rock at al-Aqsa Mosque, a source of frequent outbursts of anti-Jewish anger and terrorism by the muslim world. The implication of this particular visual alignment is even stranger when one considers the fact that the graveyard at which this honor guard is performing their duties is nowhere near al-Aqsa.
Take a look at the AFP shot below, which illustrates exactly how far apart these two locations really are:

Notice the tiny golden circle there?
Yeah, that's the Dome of the Rock. And from where these soldiers are standing, it really is quite a distance away.
Israeli soldiers unload their rifles after a memorial ceremony for fallen soldiers at the military cemetery on Mount of Olives overlooking the Dome of the Rock mosque in Jerusalem on May 9, 2011. Remembrance Day is followed immediately by the 63rd anniversary of the creation of Israel in 1948 according to the Jewish calendar. AFP PHOTO/GALI TIBBON (Photo credit should read GALI TIBBON/AFP/Getty Images)
So why did our AP stringer go through so much effort to zoom the dome into the background of their shot? I can safely assume that it's not an innocent accident, as the Dome has very clearly been purposefully enlarged via zoom lens to fit exactly where it did. So if it's not a mistake, why was the photo arranged the way it was?
Every picture tells a story, after all. And from where I'm sitting, this particular story seems to be ginned up to aggravate the Muslim world, and to enflame the passions of Islamic Rage Boys everywhere.
Which makes me wonder: Is the Associated Press really reporting the news in Israel these days? Or are they trying to invent it?

Newspaper yanks ad after Muslims complain about strapless women pictured with conquered site

Labels: » » » »
Historically the British always accommodated the Muslims... even when they raise a pitchfork mob to massacre Jews. That is why it was so important to get the British out of Israel.
The conquered site in question is where Muslims built the “Golden Dome” on top of the ruins of Solomon’s Temple. It appears the group complaining was, or is related to, terrorist group Hamas. via Muslims offended by Trinny & Susannah – Ynetnews. h/t Boots

Newspaper ads for the“Trinny and Susannah Do Israel” show has sparked a row among Muslims, as it shows the two British fashion advisers dressed in immodest clothing against the backdrop of the al-Aqsa Mosque and Western Wall.
Channel 10 apologized for the incident on Wednesday evening and promised to change the ads immediately.
The Islamic Movement‘s al-Aqsa institution association slammed Channel 10 for publishing a picture of the two women wearing strapless dresses against the backdrop of the mosque.
The association released a statement saying that “the publication of such abomination against the backdrop of an image of the al-Aqsa Mosque, in order to promote a television program on fashion and clothes, is a blatant violation and a desecration of Islam’s holy mosque. This is an insult to more than one and a half billion Muslims in the world.”The association demanded that Channel 10 remove the ads immediately. “This is not the first time Israelis make use of pictures of the al-Aqsa Mosque, which violate the sanctity of Islam, whether with alcohol bottles or in order to promote tourism to occupied Jerusalem. We call for the immediate removal of the newspaper ads.”
After apologizing for the ad, Channel 10 decided to change it immediately, using PR photos instead of images of Jerusalem.
Channel 10  offered the following response: “The television show has no intention of offending any religion or faith in any way. The publication of the discussed ads will be stopped immediately.”We had no intention and have no intention of hurting the feelings of Jews, Muslims, Christians or any other people. We apologize if these ads have offended any religious sentiments.”
Hamas is also known as the Islamic Resistance Movement, and the al Aqsa Brigades is a military wing of Hamas.

Miraj by Sultan Muhammad updated ISLAMIC JERUSALEM?

Mohammad, Mashaal, Fayyad, Abu Mazen, Hillary Clinton, Hitler, Arafat, Barghouthi, Ahmed Yassin, Ahmadinejad, Nasrallah, Rosie O'Donnell, McKinney, Abdullah, Chomsky, Mel Gibson, Ted Turner, Erdogan, Assad, al-Husayni, Obama, Ron Paul ,Helen Thomas, Elvis Costello, Chavez, and of course Osama bin Ladi

Israel and the Palestinians are once again negotiating their future relationship. One of the most difficult issues they confront is the status of Jerusalem.

On September 22, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton congratulated Saudi King Abdullah on the occasion of his country's national day. She reserved special praise for Abdullah's support of the Arab Peace Initiative (API), which calls for an Israeli withdrawal from all territories gained in 1967 and for East Jerusalem to be the capital of a Palestinian state. She suggested that this plan would serve as a philosophical basis for the ongoing talks. "As we continue working to support direct talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians, the principles enshrined in the Arab Peace Initiative are more important than ever," Clinton wrote.
Jews and Christians know that Israel's claim to Jerusalem is rooted in the ancient Jewish connection to that city. Israel's declaration of independence speaks of both "natural and historic right." Jerusalem is the centerpiece of that historic right.
What about the Muslim claim?
For Muslims, Jerusalem is thought to be sacred for two reasons: First, Muslims were initially commanded to pray toward Jerusalem. But when the Jews refused to convert to Islam, Muhammad changed the prayer direction toward Mecca. Second, Muslims believe that Muhammad ascended to heaven and back from "the Rock" which much later after his death was interpreted to mean what is today the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.
Interestingly, Islamic sources from the first 50 years or so after Muhammad's death make clear that Jerusalem had absolutely no holy status for Muslims.
Some centuries later, Ibn Taymiyya (1263–1328) another important Muslim cleric with an encyclopedic knowledge of the Koran and Hadith, wrote extensively about Jerusalem, and how there were only two holy cities in Islam – Mecca and Medina. He eventually became the intellectual godfather of Wahhabism, the dominant Islamic doctrine of the Saudi government. He claimed that Muslims must rid themselves of all non-Muslim innovations and return to the early Islam of Muhammad and the first four caliphs. The rulers of Ibn Taymiyya's time saw him as a threat and imprisoned him. Even so, he did not recant.
Ibn Taymiyya went to great lengths to explain that the veneration of Jerusalem in nothing more than the "Judaization" of Islam. He wrote that after the second caliph 'Umar conquered Jerusalem in 637 he and his aide Ka'b al-Aḥbār [a Jewish convert to Islam], went up to view the Temple Mount. 'Umar asked his aide: "Where do you think I should build a place of prayer for Muslims?" Ka'b replied: "Build it behind (i.e., north of) the Rock." Angrily, Umar said to Ka'b: "Oh you son of a Jew, is your Jewishness dominating your view?" 'Umar was accusing Ka'b of Judaizing Islam by saying that they should build a place to pray north of the Rock where the Jewish Temple had once stood. If they had done so, they would have been bowing down both towards the Rock and Mecca. That is why 'Umar decided to build the place to pray on the southern part of the Temple Mount – the place today known as the Aqsa Mosque. 'Umar's choice of location meant that the Muslims bowed down only to Mecca and that their backs (rear ends) were facing the Rock.
Ibn Taymiyya wondered how Muslim clerics could have accepted Ka'b's attempts to incorporate Jewish traditions into Islam, because Ka'b did not cite any of Muhammad's companions as the source of his claim.
Ibn Taymiyya also accused Ka'b of fabricating Muslim traditions and incorporating Jewish writings, i.e., the Bible, Talmud, etc., into Islam. Ibn Taymiyya admitted that the original prayer direction was Jerusalem but he emphasized that Muhammad and the Muslims abandoned that tradition in order to differentiate themselves from the Jews.
Later, Ibn Taymiyya discussed the first caliphs and showed that when they ruled over today's Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel, neither they nor any of the early governors nor any clerics made any attempt to build any structure over the Rock on the Temple Mount. This demonstrated, according to Ibn Taymiyya, that they did not attach any importance to it; as the early rulers and companions of Muhammad knew his views and his religion better than later generations of Muslims, no later scholar could disagree with them nor with the traditions they observed. They clearly did not attach any Islamic significance to today's Aqsa Mosque nor to the Temple Mount in general. How then, Ibn Taymiyya reasoned, could we who never knew them nor Muhammad have the right to disagree? There is no way we could know more about Islam than they. We therefore have no right to sanctity al-Aqsa because they did not do so.
In order to further strengthen his argument against Jerusalem's sanctity, Ibn Taymiyya wrote that during Muhammad's night journey to heaven from Jerusalem, there is no mention of the (Temple) Rock in the story. Therefore, since the Rock is not even mentioned, it has no importance in Islamic tradition.

So we see that according to the intellectual godfather of the Saudis, the Aqsa Mosque and the Temple Rock have absolutely no Islamic religious significance. As he proved, these are nothing more than Judaic traditions that have penetrated Islam, and, as non-Muslim innovations, must be expunged from Islam.

So how did Jerusalem become holy in Islam? In the 680s, a civil war erupted among the Muslims. The caliph who ruled from Damascus wanted to put down a revolt by the people who controlled Mecca, the place of pilgrimage. In order to weaken them, he decided to build a counter-pilgrimage site and at the very least siphon off people who during the pilgrimage might have decided to take up the rebel's cause. He therefore chose to build a dome over the Rock in Jerusalem and to encourage people to make pilgrimages there instead of to Mecca. That is when Jerusalem became holy in Islam. So in essence, Jerusalem's sanctity to Muslims stems from a local revolt which occurred some 50-plus years after Muhammad's death.
The Saudi regime follows Ibn Taymiyya to a tee. Those who disagree with his philosophy do so at their own peril. When a Saudi editor published an article questioning something that Ibn Taymiyya had written, he was quickly fired on the orders of the information minister. So it is rather curious that the Saudis have included, as one of the basic principles of their plan for peace between Israel and the Arabs, the idea that East Jerusalem must be the capital of a Palestinian state. Why have they rejected their godfather's stance on Jerusalem? Ibn Taymiyya must be turning over in the grave.

Abu Mazen AKA Abbas is going for a Hail Mary

Labels: » » » » » » »
Abbas Prepared to Exchange Land for Peace with Israel. Abu Mazen is no Doug Flutie

....er make that a FAIL MARY!
Whenever Abu Mazen has his back to the wall he offers a "NEW" plan. Abu Mazen is lying. Hamas would in fact win an election if there ever was one. He is in no position to represent his people...

Abbas Prepared to Exchange Land for Peace with Israel

On March 19 Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas was the guest of the Israeli Channel 2 show “Meet the Press.” The main points of the interview were the following (according to Israel Channel 2 TV, March 19, 2011):
– The peace process and an agreement with Israel:
Mahmoud Abbas said that he had no objection to meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu “anywhere.” He said the negotiations would resume when Prime Minister Netanyahu had made it clear that he was willing to accept the 1967 borders as a basis for negotiations and to freeze the building in the settlements for a number of months. He said that the negotiations would lead to the end of the conflict and cancel the historical territorial claims of both sides.
He said that he was prepared for an exchange of territories, and that if Netanyahu made a proposal similar to the one suggested by [former Israeli prime minister] Ehud Olmert he would accept it.
So then why didn't Fatah and Abu Mazen accept it then?  probably because he was in a better position with the Arabs at that point.  this new offer is an act of desperation from a man who is irrelevant to the Arabs.  Israel already made this mistake with his predecessor Arafat.
He emphasized that he would not accept a state “with temporary borders” as the negotiations’ final goal, but was ready to accept a final status arrangement implemented in stages, one of which would be a state with temporary borders.
He said that although many countries had already recognized a Palestinian state, he did not want to declare an independent state “on paper,” and preferred a peace agreement with Israel.
– Internal Palestinian reconciliation:
Mahmoud Abbas said that the two parts of the Palestinian people, those in the West Bank and those in the Gaza Strip, had to be united. He claimed that the schism within the Palestinian people was an obstacle to peace and served Israel as an excuse not to go forward with the negotiations.

he is right on that one.  not having power is an obstacle to taking Abu Mazen's word.

He expressed confidence that Hamas would not win elections in the West Bank, but nevertheless said that elections would be held and the Palestinians would choose whom they wanted, even if it were Hamas. He said the Palestinians were peace-loving and that even if Hamas should win the elections, Israel had nothing to fear.

so Abu Mazen has confidence that Hamas won't win an election... and that Hamas was into "PEACE".  the denied correlative is Hamas is not into promoting the piece - "PEACE" and if they were then Fatah would win the election

He said that Hamas had expressed readiness to accept a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders and was currently preventing rockets from being fired from the Gaza Strip. He added that he hoped that the Palestinian Authority would be able to turn Hamas into a “peace movement.”
– The murder in Itamar:
Mahmoud Abbas again denounced the murder of the Fogel family in the village of Itamar. He claimed he denounced it as soon as he heard about it. He emphasized that the deed was an exception to Palestinian tradition and morality. He claimed that the senior figures of the Palestinian Authority doubted whether the murderer was a Palestinian, because “it is unthinkable that a Palestinian aware of his own actions could kill a three month-old baby.”
via crethiplethi.com
the last one was the biggest fraudulent statement of all.  He had to be talked into saying something about the Fogel people by the Obama administration and his own people within Fatah called the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades were the criminals who did the act.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared that there will be no peace with Israel until all Palestinian prisoners and detainees are released from Israeli jails.

then he changes his min again...

Abbas made the comments during a meeting in Ramallah with Bil'in protest organizer Abdallah Abu Rahmah, who was released from an Israeli prison. (Elior Levy)

Arafat encouraged Hamas terrorist attacks

Labels: » » » » » » » » » »

Arafat:
since his death, Arafat's acolytes have been quite open about his central role in the terrorism for which "Palestinian" has become a by-word:
Back in Abu Amar's day [Yasser Arafat's nom de guerre], we had a plan, there was a strategy, and we would carry his orders...Everything that was done in the intifada was done according to Arafat's instructions...

Mahmoud Zahar:
In a syndicated Associated Press report issued yesterday, one of the highest-up thugs in the Hamas terror hierarchy, Mahmoud Zahar, is quoted telling Gaza City students that when Yasser Arafat realized negotiations with Israel were failing ten years ago, he "recommended to Hamas to carry out a number of military operations in the heart of the Hebrew state."

The AP report says it has confirmation of the closed-door session, and says Zahar declined to deny them. It says other Hamas leaders refused to discuss the statements on the record, and several privately expressed displeasure but did not deny them. Zahar's statement were made Tuesday - the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 28, 2000, eruption of violence that became known as the second intifada.
A far more reliable source, the Jerusalem Post's peerless Khaled Abu Toameh, writes that this is the first time a senior Hamas source has conceded that some of the suicide-bombing murders carried out by its agents during the second intifada, which erupted 10 years ago, were ordered by Arafat. Until now, it was widely believed that Arafat had only ordered his Fatah militiamen to carry out terror attacks on Israel.

That's from a candid statement by the head of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade terrorists in an interview carried in Ha'aretz on April 4, 2008.
There never was a peace
