Intel found on slain Hamas official led to Sudan strike

Labels: » » » » » » » » » »
(IMAGES OF SITE) U.K.'s Sunday Times cites military intelligence reports that Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, assassinated in Dubai, was in possession of an agreement between Iran and Sudan from 2008 that permitted Iran to manufacture weapons in Sudanese territory.(doc)Yoav Limor and Israel Hayom - The Sunday Times reported that eight Israeli warplanes participated in the attack on the Yarmouk military complex near the Sudanese capital Khartoum. According to the report, planning for the operation began as a result of documents found on the body of Hamas official Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, whose assassination in Dubai in 2010 prompted worldwide speculation that it was a Mossad operation. The U.K. paper cited military intelligence reports stating that Mabhouh was in charge of procuring weapons for terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip, and was in possession of a copy of an agreement between Iran and Sudan from 2008 that permitted Iran to manufacture weapons in Sudanese territory. The report claims that Israeli intelligence managed to successfully prove that Iranian engineers had begun working in Yarmouk under the watch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and were developing Iran's long-range Shihab missiles as well as other arms. The plant served as a starting point for weapons convoys to the Gaza Strip. Yarmouk is located in a densely populated residential area of the city some 11 kilometers (seven miles) southwest of the Khartoum International Airport. Wednesday's explosion sent exploding ammunition flying into homes in the neighborhood adjacent to the factory, causing panic among residents. Sudanese officials said some people suffered from smoke inhalation. A man who lives near the factory said that from inside their house, he and his brother heard a loud roar of what they believed was a plane just before the boom of the explosion sounded from the factory. Meanwhile, Sudan's ambassador to the United Nations issued a complaint to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, claiming that the nature of strike, and the advanced radar-jamming technology used proves it was an Israeli operation.
Israel has faced numerous attempts to smuggle weapons to the Gaza Strip. In March 2011, the Israeli Navy intercepted the ship, Victoria, which carried a large cache of weapons including the advanced C-704 anti-ship missile, which — had it landed in the hands of terrorists — would have threatened navy operations as well as the nearby natural gas drilling rigs.

Mossad agent Bar Refaeli seduces Hamas man in cinematic depiction of Dubai operation

Media_httpwwwhaaretzc_apapt
(Haaretz.com)The brazen 2010 assassination of a Hamas operative in Dubai, in which Israel's Mossad was accused, unfurled like a spy movie thriller — and in fact much of it was caught on camera. Now an Israeli movie plays it as a spy caper, complete with a sly seductress played by Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli. The movie "Kidon", or Spear, gives the plot a twist by having a small-time gang of criminals murder Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in an attempt to frame Israel's Mossad spy agency. Dubai police accused the Mossad of carrying out the actual hit in a five-star hotel, and released surveillance camera footage of the assassination team tracking al-Mabhouh. A number of countries also cast suspicion on Israel, angrily accusing its intelligence agency of forging passports under their citizens' names for the killers to use. Israel and the Mossad, as is their policy, never confirmed or denied involvement.
Sounds interesting, but everytime Hollywood gets a story that appears Pro Israel it gets the liberal writers trying to make the Arabs reasonable to make the drama interesting. It appears like it is because they are supposedly interested in the craft of story writing, but often film gives the Palestine narrative legs by merely presenting a so called believable bad guy who is sympathetic. The Spielberg film Schindler's List presented an actor that now claims to be a Muslim in a sympathetic light. The Jews always need to be saved from themselves in Hollywood. Later in Munich the terrorists are depicted as sympathetic and poor. The reality is most of these Muslim terrorists (especially their leaders are anything but poor) The Nazis were poor... I never saw Spielberg depict a Nazi as poor.  Why did he do it with the Arabs?

Head of Iran's missile program killed in blast

The Persian Incursion Begins
...Israel Television has just reported that Hassan Moghadam, who was responsible for Iran's missile program, was killed in Saturday's blast outside Tehran. DEBKA reported this late on Saturday night. Here's their story.
Brig. Hassan Moghadam, head of missile development and sections of its nuclear program, was killed in one of the two consecutive explosions that hit two IRGC bases 46 kilometers west of Tehran Saturday, Nov. 12. The official fatality figure is 32. Fourteen hours after explosions blasts could still be heard and fires raged. debkafile's exclusive sources report the bases are located in Malard, a town in the Shahryar district. The Moadarres facility was the first to be hit, while the second and bigger blast occurred at Amir-al-Mo'menin.
Their force was such that the Iranian Red Crescent rushed 45 ambulances to the two facilities plus 23 buses converted to first-aid vehicles and a helicopter to evacuate the critically injured.
However, only six rescue workers were given access to the Moadarres base and none were permitted to enter Amir-al-Mo'menin because of the facility's sensitivity.
Fourteen hours after the explosions, the blasts continued and fires raged. Surrounding streets were closed and reporters kept away from the scene.
Our sources report increasing evidence that the first explosion was caused by a failed effort to mount a nuclear warhead on a Shahab-3 intermediate-range missile.Read the whole thing.
CBS News has now confirmed the story.

Dubai may get new financial aid from Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi might offer more fiscal aid to sister state Dubai to help refinance maturing debt, Barclays said
Barclays...
like the company that is building the home of the Nets in Brooklyn
is involved in saving Dubai from financial failure.
Dubai failed because of Shariah finance which did not allow debt because credit was all hypothetical.

The New Taqiyya: Islamic finance and Islamic banking, which are among the fastest growing financial industries in the world, are best understood in their political and cultural contexts, and by what formed their theoretical origins.

To begin with, Islamic banks are based on a corpus of doctrines called “Islamic economics,” which claims to be based on the Quran, but is actually the creation of the Islamist thinker Abu’l-A’la Mawdudi (1903-1979).

Anyhow... back to Barclays who is announcing a plan to save Dubai which shafted Western finance when their little dream city went into debt. The irony is the West deserved to be shafted for doing business with these people.

Abu Dhabi might offer more fiscal aid to sister state Dubai to help refinance maturing debt, Barclays said
Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates and home to 90 percent of the country’s oil reserves, might offer more fiscal aid to sister state Dubai to help refinance maturing debt, Barclays Capital said.
“As higher oil prices and production replenishes the coffers in Saudi, Kuwait and UAE on improving fiscal and external balances, we would not rule out oil-rich Abu Dhabi supporting Dubai in meeting some of its refinancing needs to avoid negative headlines and confirm its solidarity with other emirates,” Alia Moubayed, London-based senior economist for the firm, said in a research report Wednesday.
Abu Dhabi agreed a $20bn deal with Dubai after Dubai World, the state-owned holding company, roiled global markets by seeking to alter terms on about $25bn of debt following the 2008 property crash.
Dubai and its government entities have about $18bn of loans coming due in 2011, Shady Shaher of Standard Chartered Plc said in December.
The UAE and neighbouring countries are benefiting from oil prices that have risen 19 percent this year, reaching a 2011 high today of $109.15 a barrel, as conflict raged in Libya and protests gripped countries from Morocco to Bahrain.
The UAE is home to about seven percent of the world’s oil supply.
Dubai and its state-owned companies ran up debt of at least $129.3bn, according to estimates by Credit Suisse Group AG, as the emirate, lacking Abu Dhabi’s oil, developed its property, tourism, trade and financial-services industries. Dubai World signed a final deal with creditors March 23, marking the end of the restructuring.
“Dubai’s refinancing risk, which has preoccupied markets for the past 18 months, has moved to the background, as Bahrain’s mounting political risk comes to the fore,” the report said.

Libya’s first lady owns 20 tons of gold: reports

DUBAI (Mohamed al-Naeimi)
Since the start of the Libyan revolution on Feb. 17, Libya’s first lady Safia Farkash has not been in the limelight unlike her Tunisian and Egyptian counterparts even though she is known for her enormous wealth and considerable influence.
Safia Farkash owns an airline company called Buraq Air headquartered in the Mittiga International Airport in the Libyan capital Tripoli. Farkash operates the company with the approval of her husband even though it is a rival of the Libyan national carrier and monopolizes the transfer of Libyan pilgrims.
Reports of Farkash’s wealth are varried, but one of the most widely-circulated reports suggests that the first lady owns 20 tons of gold.
News of Farkash’s wealth is in line with the Wiki Leaks documents which stated that Gaddafi is the head of a family that is powerful and rich, yet divided and dysfunctional.
According to Wiki Leaks, Farkash is generally low profile. She travelled in a rented plane and a procession of cars drove her from the airport to her destination. Even the banquet she held at the Bab al-Azizia compound, Gaddafi’s main headquarters, to celebrate the anniversary of the 1969 revolution was quite modest.
During the Lockerbie crisis, the International Coalition against War Criminals (ICAWC), based in France, revealed in 1992 that Gaddafi’s wealth had reached 80 billion U.S. dollars and that his wife’s was estimated at 30 billion.

Story of first lady

Safia Farkash al-Baraasi is the second wife of Libya leader Muammar Gaddafi. She was born in the city of al-Baida in eastern Libyan and hails from al-Baraaesa tribe. They got to know each other when she worked as a nurse and he was admitted to hospital for an appendectomy in 1971. They got married the same year and had seven children, six boys and their only daughter Ayesha.
During the first years of their marriage, Farkash rarely made media appearances, yet in the past few years she started engaging in social activities like taking part in celebrating the 1969 revolution that brought her husband to power and attending the graduation of female police students in 2010.
In 2008, Farkash was elected vice president to the African First Ladies Organization in a meeting of African Union leaders in the Egyptian Red Sea city Sharm al-Sheikh even though she was not present at the meeting and has never taken part in activities related to it.
Several websites reported that Farkash and her daughter Ayesha landed in Germany on February 20, but no one denied or confirmed the news.

, BUT THE BRITISH DON'T PANIC
UNLESS THEY ARE JEWS PROTECTING THEMSELVES

Libyan rebels have released a British special forces team who were detained when a mission to contact opponents of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi went wrong, it was revealed tonight.

The eight-strong group, who were escorting a junior diplomat, has now left the country bound for Malta on board HMS Cumberland.
...According to reports, guards challenged the SAS team when they arrived at an agricultural compound in the eastern city of Benghazi.
They were detained after a search of their bags revealed ammunition, explosives, maps and fake passports.

The BBC says the passports were from at least four different nationalities.
In Libya, there are presently one million refugees from sub-Saharan Africa whose ambition is to get in a boat to Italy. There isn’t a lot to stop them.
Democratic Republics have limitations and checks and balances. Borders are what keep these checks and balances from representing a larger area then can be represented fairly.
Do you remember the reason for the 1776 revolution? The idea was no taxation without representation. Obviously the revolution fell short, but we need to be still fighting for independence from those powers that think they know better then local representation.
I had a terrible education. I attended a school for emotionally disturbed teachers.

It always was about helping some one else's kids when we talk about our parents and teachers. Always about empathy for the children on the other side of the border.
Maybe the Brits should have sent James Bond (pictured here with an Aston-Martin). Maybe it wouldn't have helped.
A group of British agents from SAS and MI6, who traveled to Benghazi to meet with the Libyan rebels, were caught and sent back to England with their tails between their legs.
But here's the funniest part.
According to Guardian sources, the British intelligence and special forces unit were caught near the al-Khadra Farm Company, 18 miles (30km) south-west of Benghazi. A senior member of Benghazi's revolutionary council said: "They were carrying espionage equipment, reconnaissance equipment, multiple passports and weapons. This is no way to conduct yourself during an uprising.
"Gaddafi is bringing in thousands of mercenaries to kill us, most are using foreign passports and how do we know who these people are?
"They say they're British nationals and some of the passports they have are British. But the Israelis used British passports to kill that man in Dubai last year."
What, they want the Israelis to come to Benghazi to help them? Or do they fear we'll help Gadhafi? Heh.
With evidence lacking against Israel now the BBC points the finger at all Jews around the world

Pirates

Labels: » » » » »

DUBAI : Pirates on Wednesday seized a supertanker off the coast of Oman bound for the United States carrying a crew of 25 and a load of more than 1.9 million barrels of oil, officials said.
"We cannot contact the vessel," an official with Enesel, the Greek company that manages the Irene SL, told AFP by telephone.
The tanker was carrying "about 270,000 metric tons" of Kuwaiti crude, which translates to over 1.9 million barrels of oil, he said, asking not to be named.
The Bahrain-based Combined Maritime Forces said the Greek-flagged ship was hijacked at 0926 GMT about 220 nautical miles (370 kilometres) east of the Omani coast, in the Arabian Sea.
"We can confirm that the Irene SL has been pirated off the coast of Oman," a spokeswoman for the international naval force told AFP by telephone.
"It is an oil tanker," she said, adding that it had a crew of 25 and was "bound for the United States".
"We have no reports of casualties," the spokeswoman said.
While the identity of the hijackers is unknown, Somali pirates are the likely culprits.
"We've got no specific information about who has taken it, but I think it would be reasonable to suspect it was an act of Somali piracy," the spokeswoman said.
Various websites devoted to information on shipping listed the tanker as being 333 metres (1,092 feet) long with a 60-metre (196-foot) beam.
Irene SL is the second oil tanker hijacked in two days.
The European Union's Atalanta mission to the seas off Somalia and the Gulf of Aden (Eunavfor) said an Italian oil tanker was taken early on Tuesday 600 miles east of the island of Socotra by a single skiff with five pirates who opened fire on the oiler.
That ship had a crew of 22 - five Italians and 17 Indians, EU forces said.
Piracy has made shipping increasingly perilous off the Horn of Africa and led to the deployment of an international force to protect the key maritime corridor.
On Sunday, the Indian navy captured 28 suspected Somali pirates on board a Thai fishing vessel that had been hijacked up to six months ago and was thought to have been used as a floating base to mount attacks on shipping.
In January, pirates released a Greek-owned oil tanker with a crew of 18 Filipinos that they had seized in the southern Red Sea.
The UN's maritime agency, the International Maritime Organisation, said last week that 67 ships had been hijacked off the coast of Somalia in the past 12 months alone, while a total of 714 seafarers are still being held for ransom on board 30 ships along the eastern African country's extensive coastline.
London's Chatham House international affairs think-tank estimates that piracy costs the global economy between US$7 billion and US$12 billion (five billion and 8.8 billion euros) every year.
Leading global shipping groups have called for a "more robust" international response to Somali piracy, warning that escalating violence towards seamen could prompt the industry to seek alternative routes.
"The current situation is unacceptable to the industry," four shipping associations said in an open letter dated February 4, released on Monday by the union of Greek ship owners.
"Unless necessary action is taken by the international community, the shipping industry will be looking at all possible options, including alternative routes, which could have a very dramatic effect on the world economy and global trade, including the delivery of oil," the groups warned.

Atop Yemen al-Qaida, a militant who vows to hit US - Yemen Latest News

Labels: » » » » » » »
SAN'A, Yemen – Only four years after he and a band of militants made a daring escape from a San'a prison, Qassim al-Raimi has become the dominant figure in al-Qaida's most active franchise — the Yemen-based al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula.

The group's military commander, al-Raimi is thought to be the brains behind a series of attacks, including the foiled plot to mail bombs to the United States and multiple attacks against Yemen's U.S.-backed government. In writings and videos, he has vowed to topple the San'a regime and to strike America.

"His charisma and leadership skills have qualified him to be al-Qaida's military dynamo," said Nabil al-Bakeery, a Yemeni expert on al-Qaida. "He is the one occupying the decision making position in the organization."

Al-Raimi is thought to be hiding in the tough mountain terrain of Yemen's central Marib province, according to Yemeni counterterrorism officials. He has a reputation as a master of disguise: The officials said he is believed to slip frequently into the capital, San'a, to meet with al-Qaida cells, or even visit family or friends on special occasions like weddings and funerals.

Faraj Hady, a suspected militant currently on trial for alleged al-Qaida links, testified last month in court that al-Raimi, perfectly disguised as a woman, once traveled with him in a car from northeast Yemen to San'a.

Since 2007, the government has announced al-Raimi's death three times in strikes or clashes, most recently in January — each time wrong. Even on the run, he directs training camps in Yemen's remote deserts and mountains, organizes cells and plans attacks at home and abroad, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

"Today's battle, American leaders, is not just between you and the mujahedeen of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula. It's between you and all the tribes of the Arabian Peninsula. You have united us with our people," al-Raimi wrote in the January edition of Sada al-Malahem, or "Echo of the Epics," the group's online magazine. His message came after airstrikes in southern Yemen targeting al-Qaida bases that reportedly killed Yemeni civilians.

"Today, you have attacked us in our homes, so wait for the ills that will strike you in your homes," he wrote, under his nom de guerre Abu Harira al-Sanani. "We will come for you from behind, from your left and from your right to blow up the earth beneath your feet."

U.S. investigators believe that the explosives in the mail bomb plot disrupted last week were put together by an al-Qaida bomb-maker named Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri. But Yemeni officials say al-Raimi likely oversaw the operation. Two bombs in packages addressed to Chicago-area synagogues were intercepted on flights in Britain and Dubai.

Al-Raimi, who is in his late 30s or early 40s, is also thought to have masterminded last year's failed attempt by a suicide bomber to assassinate Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf, the head of Saudi Arabia's counterterrorism agency.

Al-Raimi's senior status was clear even during his 2002-2006 stint in a San'a prison, where he was jailed alongside other al-Qaida militants. "He represented the inmates in negotiations with the prison officials over privileges and conditions," said one official. "He was a threatening figure who scared prison guards. The main ward where al-Qaida leaders stayed was off limits to the guards."

In 2006, al-Raimi and 22 other al-Qaida inmates made a spectacular escape from the prison. The next July, a suicide bomber attacked tourists at a historic site in Marib province, killing eight Spaniards and two Yemenis, in an attack the government said al-Raimi planned.

Many of the 23 have since been either killed or returned to prison, but those still at large constitute al-Qaida in Yemen's core leadership — including its official leader, Nasser al-Wahishi.

In 2009, al-Wahishi announced the creation of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, combining Yemeni militants with those from the terror group's Saudi branch. Al-Wahishi earned the leadership post likely because he was once a close associate of Osama bin Laden, and al-Raimi was named military chief.

Born in a village in the scenic mountainous region of Raima some 100 miles (160 kilometers) south of San'a, al-Raimi, the son of an army enlisted man, is thought to have dropped out of school and left home as a teenager to work in the Red Sea port city of Hodeida. He spent a year there, then is believed to have gone to the northern city of Saada, home to Yemen's leading school of militant Salafi ideology, to which al-Qaida members subscribe.

Over the next 10 years, he disappeared. He spent part of the 1990s in Afghanistan, where he received military training from al-Qaida militants, according to Yemeni officials. He passed through Saudi Arabia, joining al-Qaida's branch there and earning himself a spot on the kingdom's most wanted list of terrorists.

He surfaced in Yemen in 2002, when he was arrested and imprisoned for allegedly planning a suicide bombing that year against a French supertanker off the country's Arabian Sea coast.

His most recent appearance came in a videotape posted on militant websites last month. In it, a man said to be al-Raimi — bearded, turbaned and wearing a long beige tunic over baggy trousers — speaks amid footage of men with automatic rifles using U.S., British and Israeli flags for target practice.

In the tape, al-Raimi announces the creation of the "Aden and Abyan Army" to overthrow President Ali Abdullah Saleh's U.S.-backed regime. Accusing Saleh of killing Muslim women and children on U.S. behalf, he warned, "By doing so, stupid, you are digging your own grave."

He also added a chilling call: He urged fellow Muslims with experience in chemistry, electronics, electricity and physics to join al-Qaida.

Polish court extradites Brodsky

The decision means that the alleged agent, Uri Brodsky, must be handed over to Germany within 10 days.
Warsaw's appeals court on Thursday upheld a July ruling ordering Brodsky extradited to Germany on forgery charges only. That means he can only be tried in Germany for forgery and not spying, which would spare Israel a possibly embarrassing espionage trial.

Brodsky was arrested in Warsaw in June on a European warrant charging him with espionage and helping to falsely obtain a German passport. The passport was allegedly used in connection with the Jan. 19 slaying of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai.

The Mabhouh case led to international outrage over forged passports. Israeli diplomats were expelled from Ireland and Australia.

'Brodsky' must be handed over to Germany within the next ten days. The reason he cannot be charged with the other crimes? They're not crimes in Poland.

the only charge he is facing is forgery of passports.  that doesn't even sound reasonable to me.

Briton held for wearing a bikini in Dubai shopping mall

A British holidaymaker has been charged with indecency in Dubai after walking through the world's largest shopping centre in a bikini.
The woman was buying clothes and gifts in the Dubai Mall, fully dressed but in a low-cut top, when she was accosted by an Arabic woman and criticised for wearing 'revealing clothing'.
The pair then became embroiled in a heated row in front of hundreds of bemused shoppers.
Incensed by the Arabic woman's comments, the British woman told her to 'mind her own business' before stripping out of her clothes and 'taunting' the locals by walking around in only her bikini, it is alleged.

Daft as a hairbrush, the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal is arguably the most insanely idiotically dense creature in existence. It believes that if you can't see it, it can't see you. via bbc.co.uk
a Dubai-based IP-service portal left Israel off its map.
Apparently the Arab predilection for ignoring the facts and engaging in wishful thinking extends to the IP sphere. Newsflash for the guys running the site: Israel exists. Or was that flap a few months ago about some terrorist getting killed in a hotel in Dubai just a case of you guys getting worked up over what some ghosts did?
Not only does Israel exist, the PCT database lists 21590 published PCT applications having an Israeli applicant. That’s over 200 times more than the 104 such applications for the whole UAE. The disparity may partly explain why Israel weathered the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009 so much better than Dubai did. via israelmatzav.blogspot.com
Despite this, the Guide did state, erroneously, that "ravenous Bugblatter beasts often make a very good meal for (rather than of) visiting tourists" in its article on the planet Traal. This led to deaths of those who took it literally. The guide's editors avoided lawsuit by summoning a poet to testify under oath that beauty was truth, truth beauty, and therefore prove that their claim, the nicer one, must be true. This led to life itself being held in contempt of court for being neither beautiful nor true, and subsequently being removed from all those present at the trial.

Abrogation is a great way to avoid truth... but the denial gets funnier.
Israel Air Force aircraft have been spotted in recent days at a Saudi Arabian military base unloading military equipment in the city of Tabuk, in northwestern Saudi Arabia, according to a report from Iranian news agency FARS.
The base will reportedly be used as a forward operating base by the Israelis as part of an offensive on an Islamic country.
Saudi Arabia on Saturday denied a report in the London Times that it had given Israel “clear skies” to attack Iran. According to the report, Saudi Arabia was testing its radar and defense equipment in order to partially disable defenses, in order to allow Israeli planes to fly over Saudi airspace in the event of an attack against Iranian nuclear facilities.
The report quotes a U.S. security official as saying that 'The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way.'

The report quotes a U.S. security official as saying that "The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way. They have already done tests to make sure their own jets aren't scrambled and no one gets shot down. This has all been done with the agreement of the [US] State Department." It further quoted sources in the Saudi government as saying that officials in the country “all know” about the plan, and that they “will let them [the Israelis] through and see nothing.”

Dubai police chief: We could infiltrate the Mossad

Labels: » »

Dubai pushes false information through their channels and then blames the media for reporting it. They claim if they had known the victim was a Hamas leader they would of never allowed him in, previously the accusations against Mossad were immediate because they claimed they knew Mabhouh's identity.
The autopsy, Khalfan explained, revealed the Mabhouh was strangled after being injected with a drug that causes paralysis.

"Israeli media said he was subjected to electric shocks and this is not true."
Actually, it was Mabhouh's brother that made that claim.

A barb like Jr. Highschool children:
Khalfan stressed that the Dubai Police possesses an "astounding" data base and that they have the ability to infiltrate of the office of the Mossad director, if necessary"
If they have such a world class agency then how is it that they didn't know the man who had died was with Hamas?

The Dubai police chief also called on European countries to take more stringent measures in order to make certain "Mossad does not make use" of the passports they issue, Emarat Al Youm reported Saturday.

Iran Forces Down Airliner and Abducts Passenger, Where's the Condemnation?

Labels: » » »

On February 23, a Kyrgyzstan Airways flight from Dubai bound for Bishkek was ordered by the Iranian government to land in Iran and a passenger, Abdol Malik Rigi, was taken off in handcuffs. Have you seen it in the newspapers? Is there an emergency session of the UN General Assembly? Are the British or the French or the Australians complaining?
No, they're too busy beating Israel over the head about the dispatch of a man for whom a violent end should not have been a surprise. But emerging information about the death of Mohammad al Mabouh in Dubai makes the theory that the Mossad was behind al Mabouh's death less credible every day, and should be making people wonder what's going on.
First, the emerging information: According to Dubai authorities, more than 20 people were involved in the killing; all of them primped in front of the ubiquitous security cameras; Mabouh appears to have been tortured and left; two of the conspirators left Dubai for Iran (hardly the destination of choice for Israeli agents); and British passports were matched with American credit cards-all very sloppy and un-Mossad-like. Immediately afterward, Jordan extradited two Fatah-related Palestinians to Dubai, where they seem to have disappeared.
But never mind. The Australians summoned the Israeli ambassador to explain why three Australian passports were used. The British are considering suspending intelligence cooperation with Israel (which one do you think will suffer?), and Germany, France and Ireland are demanding answers. And journalists-including Israeli journalists-are feeding the frenzy, denouncing Mossad and insisting without evidence that Israel is behaving as a rogue nation.
In the meantime, a real rogue nation hijacks an airliner and removes a passenger.
Abdul Malik Rigi is the leader of Jundullah, a Sunni group that claims to provide protection to Iran's Baluch minority; Iran calls it a terrorist organization and accuses Rigi of masterminding a series of bombings, including one that killed 42 people, including six Revolutionary Guard commanders. The Iranians also claim Rigi is an agent of the CIA, to which Rigi attested in a videotaped "confession" shortly after his arrest. The BBC aired the tape, claiming not to know whether the "confession" was "coerced." You decide:
Rigi claimed to have been contacted shortly after the 2008 election. "The Americans said... that we don't have a problem with al Qaeda or the Taliban, but the problem is Iran and we don't have a military program against Iran." He further claimed that he was promised U.S. support to launch attacks on Iran in return for the release of Jundullah prisoners. "They [Americans] promised to help us and they said that they would co-operate with us, free our prisoners and would give us [Jundullah] military equipment, bombs, machine guns, and they would give us a base."
Somebody was slick here, and it wasn't the Mossad. Western intelligence agencies-the heart of the battle against violent Islamic radicalism-are being slimed with the active assistance of Western governments and journalists, and Iran forces down an airliner and abducts a passenger off the plane without a whisper of criticism.

Daled Amos: Dubai: The Blockbuster Of Terrorist Videos

The U.S. 9/11 commission noted that for al-Qaida terrorists in 2001, "Dubai, a modern city with easy access to a major airport, travel agencies, hotels and Western commercial establishments, was an ideal transit point." More than half the September 11 hijackers passed through Dubai en route to attack the U.S., two of those hijackers came from the U.A.E., and the 9/11 Commission reported that roughly half the $250,000 the hijackers spent preparing for the attacks was wired to them via Dubai banks. Following the 2003 overthrow of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, documentation emerged--in U.S. federal courts,, as well as in both Congressional and United Nations investigations-- suggesting that Saddam's regime had used Dubai as a hub for sanctions-busting front companies, kickback collection and, according to the U.S. Treasury, efforts to buy surface-to-air missiles.
And that's just for starters:
So what else lies in the surveillance archives of the Dubai security services? If Dubai's authorities can piece together within 24 hours the trail of the alleged killers of one top terrorist, might we reasonably suppose they could also exhume quite a collection of clips providing more context? Could they perhaps give the global public a much better window on the deadly nature of the business pursued in airports, malls and hotel rooms by such killers as the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, or by Iran's pet terrorist organizations, Hezbollah and al-Mabhouh's outfit--Hamas?
Hey, Dubai! While you're at it--can you tell us more about the terrorist Mabhouh himself?

With evidence lacking against Israel now the BBC points the finger at all Jews around the world

The common language of these terrorists and their enablers are that they hate Zionists and not Jews, but now it is very obvious that isn't just Israel that they hate when they start accusing diaspora Jewery.

A terrorist is assassinated and the defrauding business of Dubai attempts to libel Jews. How would publishing the photos and information in the case help find the suspects? Dubai isn't interested in resolving the case at all and is merely waging a public relations war. As for the death of a re-known terrorist I hope Israel did kill him, but is it not premature to hand out the blame? Even if the blame does not stick... now these forces are looking to indict Jews around the world.

As self-righteous uproar against Israel rises in Britain over Mossad’s supposed use of stolen British passport identities for the hit-squad which assassinated senior Hamas operative Mahmoud Mabhouh, one or two solitary voices have been trying to introduce a little realism into this latest excuse for frighteningly unhinged Israel-bashing (see the newspaper comment threads, from the moment Dubai published the passport details, for the eruption of a hatred that seizes any and every opportunity to give vent to this bigotry). Tom Gross (who has circulated the picture above of one of Mabhouh's victims, a child murdered by a Hamas missile in Sderot) has written an excellent resumé of the madness (this article being a notable exception), pointing out that much of the British media in particular has jumped to the conclusion that this was indeed a Mossad operation even though there is a possibility that Israel may have been set up.
Some of this coverage surely amounts to incitement to racial hatred. Douglas Murray draws attention here to the astonishing suggestion broadcast on BBC Radio Four’s PM programme that
up to one million Jews worldwide might be on hand to assist Mossad in executions
a claim which turns every Jew in the diaspora into a potential suspected killer and thus a target for hatred and violence. In my view this claim should be brought to the attention of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
If the Dubai hit was a Mossad operation, it would appear at first blush to have been remarkably incompetent; since the Mossad would obviously have realised that their every move was being recorded on Dubai’s omnipresent security cameras, to have laid a trail to lead straight back to Israel like this appears bafflingly sloppy. And to use the identities of people now living as immigrants in Israel is perplexing.
On the other hand, the Jerusalem Post reports that Israel had very good reason for wanting Mabhouh dead, so much so that it may have factored in the all-too likely repercussions:
A diplomatic fallout with London, caused by the use of forged UK passports, seems a very real possibility if UK authorities officially blame Israeli intelligence for the Dubai slaying. But such a development would surely have been factored into any decision to take Mabhouh out. The diplomatic friction now building up would have been deemed bearable before any go-ahead was given for the killing....According to reports, Mabhouh oversaw the smuggling of Iranian long-range rockets into Gaza, enabling Hamas to threaten the densely populated Gush Dan region, home to more than three million Israelis and the scene of the country’s financial hub.
Only in Britain could the eradication of someone who was planning to murder untold numbers of innocents (Tom Gross reports he was apparently en route to procure Iranian missiles capable of hitting Tel Aviv from Gaza) be deemed worthy of censure by western hypocrites. If, apart from eradicating a terrorist before he could further assist mass murder, the operation was intended to give a message to bad guys everywhere that they will be successfully hunted down, it was a striking success for whoever carried it out – so much so that if Israel was not behind this, it would undoubtedly want its enemies to think that it was. As for the British and Irish passport-holders whose identities were purloined for the hit:
... the olim [immigrants] who found their names on the Dubai police’s wanted list will not encounter great difficulties in clearing their names, since most of the details in the forged documents were changed from the originals. The assassins apparently went to great lengths to ensure that the olim could distance themselves from the incident, changing passport numbers, inserting bogus middle names and altering dates of birth.
... The Gulf state, keen to preserve its name as a neutral financial haven, free from the violent woes that afflict other parts of the Middle East, has gone out of its way to try and embarrass the assassins and those who sent them. Such efforts, presumably, would have been foreseen by the mission’s planners as a possible outcome, and deemed acceptable.
Certainly, Dubai seems to have gone to great lengths to incriminate Israel. Why, after all, did it publish the passport details like this? If it wanted to catch the real agents, this was hardly going to advance this aim for which it obviously needed merely to go through the usual channels of inter-state police and intelligence agencies. Dubai is now going out of its way to point the finger at Israel, with its police chief Dahi Khalfan Tamim calling upon Interpol to issue a ‘Red Notice’ to arrest the head of Mossad.
There are many unanswered questions arising from Dubai’s claims. It is possible that Israel was responsible alone for this operation; it is possible that it was not involved and it is being set up; it is possible that Mossad was one of a number of state actors which are now setting up Israel alone to take the rap. Who knows?
Only the British media, it seems, for whom Israel is always guilty of bad deeds.

Sickening that people around the world aren't shouting foul at the BBC who is showing their true NAZI colors. No Godwin's so called law need apply. Hunting for accusations against global Jewery is no longer merely an accusation against Israel.
