Research by Francesca Stavrakopoulou, a senior lecturer in the department of Theology and Religion at the University of Exeter, unearthed clues to her identity, but good luck finding mention of her in the Bible. If Stavrakopoulou is right, heavy-handed male editors of the text all but removed her from the sacred book.
What remains of God's purported other half are clues in ancient texts, amulets and figurines unearthed primarily in an ancient Canaanite coastal city, now in modern-day Syria. I was reading some interesting things about Ba'al. the Assyrian god was El... who is the creator god that some people believe Judaism turned into Elohim. El's wife was Asherah. This character called Ba'al kept the god El in check by castrating him. These religions were deeply lunar, matriarchal and violent. Kind of a mother goddess Gloria Steinem religion before contemporary feminism. El is apparently some kind of Bull who is castrated. Ba'al acts within the control of Asherah who is a woman. Kind of like Hilary Clinton but worse.

Ba'al was apparently a war god. the bible does not clarify this. he is not the big cheese. kind of funny that the Hebrew word for "Master" comes from Ba'al. like Ba'al Shem Tov.... meaning "Master of the Good Word"

but it is interesting to me that the creator god gets castrated by the "Master". it would seem that women had a lot of power in this theology.

A Pakistani Christian woman and mother of seven, who last August was kidnapped, raped, sold into marriage and threatened with death if she did not convert to Islam was freed this week.
After she refused to convert and accept the marriage, human traffickers had threatened to kill Shaheen Bibi, 40, and throw her body into the Sindh River if her father, Manna Masih, did not pay a ransom of 100,000 rupees (US$1,170) by Saturday (March 5), the released woman told Compass.
Drugged into unconsciousness, Shaheen Bibi said that when she awoke in Sadiqabad, her captors told her she had been sold and given in marriage.
“I asked them who they were,” she said. “They said that they were Muslims, to which I told them that I was a married Christian woman with seven children, so it was impossible for me to marry someone, especially a Muslim.”
Giving her a prayer rug (musalla), her captors – Ahmed Baksh, Muhammad Amin and Jaam Ijaz – tried to force her to convert to Islam and told her to recite a Muslim prayer, she said.
“I took the musalla but prayed to Jesus Christ for help,” she said. “They realized that I should be returned to my family.”
A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lahore, Shaheen Bibi said she was kidnapped in August 2010 after she met a woman named Parveen on a bus on her way to work. She said Parveen learned where she worked and later showed up there in a car with two men identified as Muhammad Zulfiqar and Shah. They offered her a job at double her salary and took her to nearby Thokar Niaz Baig.
There she was given tea with some drug in it, and she began to fall unconscious as the two men raped her, she said. Shaheen Bibi was unconscious when they put her in a vehicle, and they gave her sedation injections whenever she regained her senses, she said.
When she awoke in Sadiqabad, Baksh, Amin and Ijaz informed her that she had been sold into marriage with Baksh. They showed her legal documents in which she was given a Muslim name, Sughran Bibi daughter of Siddiq Ali. After Baksh had twice raped her, she said, his mother interjected that she was a “persistent Christian” and that therefore he should stay away from her.
Shaheen Bibi, separated from an abusive husband who had left her for another woman, said that after Baksh’s mother intervened, her captors stopped hurting her but kept her in chains.

Her father, Masih, asked police to take action, but they did nothing as her captors had taken her to a remote area between the cities of Rahim Yar Khan and Sadiqabad, considered a “no-go” area ruled by dangerous criminals.
Masih then sought legal assistance from the Community Development Initiative (CDI), a human rights affiliate of the European Center for Law & Justice. With the kidnappers giving Saturday (March 5) as a deadline for payment of the ransom, CDI attorneys brought the issue to the notice of high police officials in Lahore and on March 4 obtained urgent legal orders from Model Town Superintendent of Police Haidar Ashraf to recover Shaheen, according to a CDI source.
The order ultimately went to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Asghar Jutt of the Nashtar police station. Police accompanied by a CDI field officer raided the home of a contact person for the captors in Lahore, Naheed Bibi, the CDI source said, and officers arrested her in Awami Colony, Lahore.
With Naheed Bibi along, CDI Field Officer Haroon Tazeem and Masih accompanied five policemen, including ASI Jutt, on March 5 to Khan Baila, near Rahim Yar Khan – a journey of 370 miles, arriving that evening. Area police were not willing to cooperate and accompany them, telling them that Khan Baila was a “no-go area” they did not enter even during daytime, much less at night.

Jutt told area police that he had orders from high officials to recover Shaheen Bib, and that he and Tazeem would lead the raid, the CDI source said. With Nashtar police also daring them to help, five local policemen decided to go with them for the operation, he said.
At midnight on Sunday (March 6), after some encounters and raids in a jungle area where houses are miles apart, the rescue team managed to get hold of Shaheen Bibi, the CDI source said. The captors handed over Shaheen Bibi on the condition that they would not be the targets of further legal action, the CDI source said.
Sensing that their foray into the danger zone had gone on long enough, Tazeem and Jutt decided to leave but told them that those who had sold Shaheen Bib in Lahore would be brought to justice.
Fatigued and fragile when she arrived in Lahore on Monday (March 7), Shaheen Bibi told CDN through her attorneys that she would pursue legal action against those who sold her fraudulently into slavery and humiliation.
She said that she had been chained to a tree outside a house, where she prayed continually that God would help her out of the seemingly impossible situation. After the kidnappers gave her father the March 5 deadline last week, Shaheen Bibi said, at one point she lifted her eyes in prayer, saw a cross in the sky and was comforted that God’s mighty hand would release her even though her father had no money to pay ransom.
On four previous occasions, she said, her captors had decided to kill her and had changed their mind.
Shaheen Bibi said there were about 10 other women in captivity with her, some whose hands or legs were broken because they had refused to be forcibly given in marriage. Among the women was one from Bangladesh who had abandoned hope of ever returning home as she had reached her 60s in captivity.
Masih told CDN that he had prayed that God would send help, as he had no money to pay the ransom. The day before the deadline for paying the ransom, he said, he had 100 rupees (less than US$2) in his pocket.

This horrific tale, unfortunately, is not exceptional in Pakistan.
Once the mainstream media stop wilfully ignoring stories like that of Shaheen Bibi, perhaps ordinary people in the West might realise that Islam is not a religion of peace in any way, shape or form – and that sites such as ours are not run by cranky, ranting hatemongers, but truth-tellers.
Islam lays down in the Qur’an and ahadith the terms and conditions in which Muslims can live under Islamic rule. And it’s not a good deal.
Christians in Pakistan and elsewhere in the Muslim world are treated as sub-human (take a bow, Egypt, too) – and every Pakistani Christian woman seen as potential targets for ultraviolent Muslim males, imbued with a sense of entitlement to such ‘war booty’ that comes directly from the Qur’an and the life of Mohammed.

Dr. Nawal Al-Sa'dawi, a prominent Egyptian writer and women's rights activist, criticized the absence of youth and women in the judiciary committee formed to draft changes to Egypt's constitution. In an editorial that appeared in the English-language online edition of the Egyptian government daily Al-Ahram, she wrote that those who had participated in the uprising and risked their lives to ensure its success have earned the right to be represented in the committee. She denied that the right to amend the constitution is the exclusive privilege of lawmakers, pointing out that "there are hundreds of thinkers among the ranks [of the youth] who are qualified in every sector, including the law." She also noted that the committee includes representatives from various sectors that make up a far smaller percentage of Egypt's population than its women, such as the Coptic community and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Al-Sa'dawi called for the reinstitution of the Egyptian Women's Union, which was dissolved by the regime following Hosni Mubarak's rise to power in the 1980s.

Study: Tilting Your Head Can Make You Hotter - translation... don't show interest

New research shows that how we tilt our head can play a big role in how attractive we are to the opposite sex. The study, published in the latest issue of Evolutionary Psychology tested whether the angle people viewed each other from was a factor in determining masculinity, femininity and attractiveness. Men, usually taller than women, view a woman's face from above, and women view men's faces from below. The research found that female faces are judged to be more feminine and attractive when tilted forwards - slightly tipping their chins down - and less feminine when tilted backwards. The opposite was true for men.

I find it amusing that they didn't just go with it. it would of been interesting to establish the libidinal nature of all of this. when it got outside of the frame of slander they just censored. there is such a thing as hate sex... in language. but the reality is that people who sleep with those they disagree with... are usually not disagreeing privately. they might turn it into play, but the media and the left had a preoccupation for decades with Clintons campaign advisor James Carville (married to Republican political pundit Mary Matalin). the reality is that the polarity of politics is rarely reflected in the bed room. it is just a matter of time before all of us are arguing as "liberals" against American Sharia Conservative law. those that are really against us are not sexy.

Virtual Sexuality

Society simply can not address all the classifications of gender and sexuality. by simply identifying a character as straight or gay it limits the spectrum of psychological profiles. this is why our government should not create social contracts merely on who we like... but our civilization needs to create structures that reflect our architecture.

there is less an issue of gender orientation and more a dynamic of if a person is an objectifier or an objectified. is a person dominant or receiving. does a person get off on being shot at or not? being that this world is virtual... it doesn't even work because it is a waste... it is a sacrifice... a martyrdom of time we all choose. we are all there to be submissive to the machine. in life there is an architecture to female submission in sexuality. babies can be made. If I agree to get shot at on xbox with labor and pain do I get the joy of creating other lives?

this assumes that it is just a game. I think politics, sex and religion have no place in the virtual world exactly because they do. it is an example of how transparency must be limited. we are all there to be submissive to the machine and therefor our hidden agendas might have symbolic implications that destroy the community. We are all in labor with each other for the system which is our child.


There is a sexual dynamic to virtual hunting and this is why it might be threatening to bring in identity into this. certainly the industry opened themselves up to something when they created Tomb Raider and Street Fighter. now the question is what does a gay character do to a game when the very game is a play at submission. I'm certain there are no coded answers to these questions. we invite sexuality into the sphere. the virtual vixens are in fact very "lesbian" esque... and of course they also create a male hetero fetish. They are muscular and they are aggressive... the industry created this out of it's own desire to sell games. but in fact it is popular because it appeals to a desire for men to submit. to role play something that they can't in life.


it is a matter of health to allow a certain level of libidinal desire that might be damaging to oneself. we as human beings might even be more healthy because we experiment with this other side. this duality. I'm not sure this should be coded as homosexual or transgender. if this element is dangerous to the game then it should not be an option.

the entire market for this is because the natural male instinct for hunting and fighting is taken away from society. people are repressed. if they invite the natural fetish into the sphere... then it is their fault. The irony of virtual combat is that it involves submission... and perhaps all combat is submissive to a larger machine. Is it no wonder that sexuality and the military must be so contained. A person who invites the system out of libidinal desire has no place because there is no boundary. Certainly a great fighter might enjoy it, but how dangerous to have such a zealous warrior. These desires need to be contained and yet allowed in it's place.
