Retired Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, who was Colin Powell's chief of staff during the Bush administration, talks with Cenk Uygur about how President Obama should handle early evidence that Syria may have used chemicals weapons. "I think the president's statement was very circumspect, very prudent," Wilkerson says. "We don't know what the chain of custody is. This could've been an Israeli false flag operation, it could've been an opposition in Syria, ... or it could've been an actual use by [Syrian President] Bashar al-Assad. But we certainly don't know with the evidence we've been given. And what I'm hearing from the intelligence community is that that evidence is really flakey."Listen to this clip of Colin Powell's former Chief-of-Staff, Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, being interviewed on 'progressive media' channel, Current TV, which was founded by former Vice-President Al Gore, who sold it for $500 million a few months ago to Qatar-based broadcaster Al Jazeera. h/t@CriticalAnalyst #GeneralColinPowell was a bust, which is y he eventually left. Wilkerson was tapped to serve as a military and foreign policy adviser for the Bernie Sanders campaign in 2015Labels: Bernie Sanders» chemical warfare» chemical weapons» Colin Powell» Israel Lobby» Wilkerson
In 2013 the former chief of staff for then-Secretary of State General Colin L. Powell suggested that Israel was responsible for the use of chemical weapons in Syria (No, I do not miss Bush) and now we understand: (1) why Colin Powell was pushing the Israelis out of Gaza (2) why Powell in now a Democrat (3) what was really running the GOP establishment and now apparently the radical left.
