(Sultan Knish)There’s just something about Nancy Pelosi and Islam. As reported last year, Nancy Pelosi hired Faiz Shakir from Think Progress, despite his troubling past, which included aiding in fundraising for a terrorist front group, to be her senior adviser and Director of New Media.
Now Pelosi has appointed Nadeam Elshami as her Chief of Staff.

Elshami formerly worked for ultra-leftist Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and socialist Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL). Schakowsky is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, a gaggle of socialists who work feverishly to convert America into a dismal European welfare state.
Elshami’s Egyptian mother, Zainab Elberry is a Muslim activist based in Tennessee. She lobbied for construction of a mega-mosque in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Local residents fought hard against construction of this mosque, fearing it would become a training center for wannabe terrorists.

Politico described Nadaem Elshami as “The Man behind Nancy Pelosi” crediting him with playing a “critical role in helping shape the Democrats’ message” as her Director of Communications.
Between Faiz Shakir, as director of Pelosi’s New Media presence and Elshami as her former Communications Director and now Chief of Staff, it does appear that the Islamization of Nancy’s messaging apparatus is moving forward.

House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) appeared on CNN with Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday. The Minority Leader former Speaker addressed the ongoing scandal surrounding President Barack Obama’s administration’s response to the Benghazi 9-11 terror attacks.
Pelosi blamed Republicans.

Cantor blasts Pelosi's anti-Semitic remarks

(Carl) House majority leader Eric Cantor (R-Va) blasted anti-Semitic remarks made about Jewish Republicans by minority leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) in an interview over the weekend, calling them 'patronizing' and 'insulting.'

“It is both patronizing and deeply insulting for Nancy Pelosi to suggest any Jew is 'exploited' for their political beliefs or that support for Israel is somehow an 'excuse' for anything," Cantor (R-Va.) said in a statement.
During the TV interview, Pelosi agreed with the interviewer that Republican Jewish supporters are very politically active and that Jewish voters are intelligent enough to understand the situation.
"Well, that’s how they’re being exploited,” she said. “And they’re smart people. They follow these issues. But they have to know the facts. And the fact is that President Obama has been the strongest person in terms of sanctions on Iran, which is important to Israel.”
Pelosi also is facing criticism that she implied Obama as president has been to Israel "over and over again."
President Obama has not been to Israel since taking office. He did travel to the country during his 2008 presidential campaign and reportedly went twice as a senator.

Let me guess: No one can find any record of him having been here as a Senator. Just like Occidental and Columbia....

Charlie Rangel Suffers Public Humiliation at the Hands of Nancy Pelosi

The House voted 333-79 on Thursday to censure Representative Charlie Rangel for ethics violations, despite his desperate plea for a lessened punishment: "I brought it on myself, and I still believe that this body has to be guided by fairness, but nobody has ever suffered the humiliation of a censure when the record is abundantly clear [that there is] no evidence at all of corruption," he begged, to no avail. Politico reports that Rangel "now finds his 40-year career tarnished" after Pelosi censured him, a public spanking in the form of an oral rebuke, the harshest form of punishment short of expulsion from Congress. Yep, the lady made him stand there and just take it. It sounds like it was almost barbaric:

"Pelosi called on the eighty-year-old to stand in the well of the House to be informed that he had been censured by his colleagues. Rangel stood, feet shoulder-width apart with one hand clasped over the other in front of his waist. Members of the Congressional Black Caucus and New York delegations crowded into the first two rows behind him."

Oh, no! What did they do? Did they stone him? Er, no: "The ordeal was over in about 45 seconds, bringing a surprisingly anti-climatic end to a long battle that cost Rangel $2 million in legal fees," Politico reports. Here's what went down:

"'By its adoption of House Resolution 1737, the House has resolved that Rep. Charles B. Rangel be censured by the public reading of this resolution by the speaker, and that Rep. Rangel pay restitution to the appropriate taxing authorities for any unpaid taxes,' Pelosi intoned. For all the pomp and circumstance surrounding the ritual, that's basically the end of the process for Rangel, who will return as a member of Congress in the next session."

Oh, okay. Back to work then.

so get this... It is treasonous according to Andrew Sullivan for a politician to do the will of the majority of Americans who are against Obama's foreign policy, but it is just fine for the Democrats and Pelosi to undermine the Republicans by talking to Syria when Bush was president. Undermining Bush was fine,,, but undermining Obama is treason. You would have to be pretty liberal thinking to oblige that conclusion... so liberal that suicide could be an option

Judicial Watch Uncovers New Documents Detailing Pelosi's Use of Air Force Aircraft

Washington, DC - October 14, 2010

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained new documents from the United States Air Force detailing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s repeated use of United States Air Force aircraft. According to the documents, obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Pelosi used Air Force aircraft on 85 flights from March 2009 through June 2010. Members of Pelosi’s family were guests on at least two flights.
Among the highlights from the documents, obtained pursuant to a FOIA request filed on January 25, 2009:

• Pelosi used the Air Force aircraft for a total of 85 trips, covering 206,264 miles, from March 2, 2009 through June 7, 2010. Pelosi, her guests and Air Force personnel logged a total of 428.6 hours on these flights.
• Members of Pelosi’s family were guests on at least two flights. On June 20, 2009, Speaker Pelosi’s daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons joined a flight from Andrews Air Force Base to San Francisco International Air Port. That flight included $143 in on-flight expenses for food and other items. On July 2, 2010, Pelosi took her grandson on a flight from Andrews Air Force Base to Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, which is northeast of San Francisco.

According to previous documents uncovered by Judicial Watch, the Speaker’s military travel cost the United States Air Force $2,100,744.59 over a two-year period — $101,429.14 of which was for in-flight expenses, including food and alcohol. For example, purchases for one Pelosi-led congressional delegation traveling from Washington, DC, through Tel Aviv, Israel to Baghdad, Iraq May 15-20, 2008 included: Johnny Walker Red scotch, Grey Goose vodka, E&J brandy, Bailey’s Irish Crème, Maker’s Mark whiskey, Courvoisier cognac, Bacardi Light rum, Jim Beam whiskey, Beefeater gin, Dewar’s scotch, Bombay Sapphire gin, Jack Daniels whiskey, Corona beer and several bottles of wine.
Judicial Watch also previously uncovered internal Department of Defense documents (DOD) email correspondence detailing attempts by DOD staff to accommodate Pelosi’s numerous requests for military escorts and military aircraft as well as the speaker’s last minute cancellations and changes. For example, in response to a series of requests for military aircraft, one Defense Department official wrote, “Any chance of politely querying [Pelosi's team] if they really intend to do all of these or are they just picking every weekend?...[T]here's no need to block every weekend ‘just in case’... “The email also notes that Pelosi's office had, "a history of canceling many of their past requests.”
“Pelosi’s abusive use of military aircraft demonstrates a shocking lack of regard for the American taxpayer and the men and women who serve in the U.S. Air Force. Speaker Pelosi may have a frequent flyer record for taxpayer-financed luxury jet travel,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

inheritance, rent, capital gains, Income from interest, dividends, annuities? I don't get it. someone explain this to me:

More than 10,000 children under 14 go to the emergency room each year after choking on food, and up to 77 die, says the new policy statement, published online today in Pediatrics. About 17% of food-related asphyxiations are caused by hot dogs. "If you were to take the best engineers in the world and try to design the perfect plug for a child's airway, it would be a hot dog," says statement author Gary Smith, director of the Center for Injury Research and Policy at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. "I'm a pediatric emergency doctor, and to try to get them out once they're wedged in, it's almost impossible."
