Cultural Leftism

Labels: » » » » » » »
Theoretical leftism and class warfare was a lot less destructive then cultural leftism and class warfare. The Jews predominantly created Christianity and it was Christian culture that committed genocide on the Jews, likewise the Jews predominantly created leftism and class warfare and the end result is cultural leftism is trying to kill us now. Who were the National Socialists? Why are we not allowed to call them Socialists? ...why, because it would offend Stalin. But even though we own the logic, the cultural horde marches on.

Fidel Castro's Niece in Twitter Row with Cuban Dissident Yoani Sánchez

Labels: » » » » »
(h/t Libra Bunda) THE GUARDIAN: Mariela Castro – daughter of president Raúl – calls dissidents 'despicable parasites' hours after joining Twitter
Within hours of signing up to Twitter, the daughter of the Cuban president, Raúl Castro, has got into the online equivalent of a shouting match with a prominent dissident blogger, Yoani Sánchez.
Mariela Castro called Sánchez and her supporters "despicable parasites" in a brief exchange that may have been the first direct confrontation, verbal or otherwise, between dissidents and a member of the Castro family after years of mutual animosity.
Sánchez, who regularly criticises the lack of freedoms in communist Cuba in her Generation Y blog, touched off the dispute by sending tweets that welcomed Mariela Castro to the "plurality of Twitter" where "no one can shut me up, deny me permission to travel or block entrance".
"When will we Cubans be able to come out of other closets?" she asked, alluding to Mariela Castro's championing of gay rights as head of Cuba's national centre for sex education.
"Tolerance is total or is it not?" Sánchez tweeted.
Castro, 49, replied coolly: "Your focus of tolerance reproduces the old mechanisms of power. To improve your 'services' you need to study."
I know all my right wing readers are looking for me to fry a Communist, but I'm not going to do that. Castro's response is correct, and I'm shocked that I agree with her. Toleration of Evil is a crime... is the well known quote from the Socialist Thomas Mann that Conservatives love to quote,,, and it is true. Castro's argument was sound, but Cuba's proportions are all off. The Castros have tolerated plenty of intolerance... and that is why theory is all bunk. Do I need to detail the amount of intolerance that the Castros have tolerated? It would be endless. Today the Castro family tolerated Shia controlled Iran for starters. and while Fidel has attempted to make ammends with Jews and Homosexual... it is all words. That is what the Castro people are. Monsters out of theory.

Buying Obediance

Centralized governments in some ways makes leaders at the top less powerful because they have to buy cooperation from their inferiors. Currying favor among cronies still goes on when it is not known about. It is better to have transparent agreements. not denied ones.

Envious Marx

Labels: » » » » » » » »
In an early meditation on “raw” or “crude” Communism (der rohe Communismus), by which he meant the Communism of Babeuf and Buonnaroti, Marx explained its appeal as a universalization of envy. By implication, he distanced himself from it:
Universal envy establishing itself as a power is only the disguised form in which greed re-establishes and satisfies itself in another way. The thought of every piece of private property as such is at the very least turned against richer private property as envy, and the desire to level, so that envy and the desire to level in fact constitute the essence [of the hatred of the results] of competition. Crude communism is only the fulfillment of this envy and leveling on the basis of a preconceived minimum.
This is a highly sophisticated moral discourse that cuts to the quick of the mechanisms of ressentiment parading as idealism. But for all such insight, Marx ended up stoking the very fires he here critiqued. Helmut Schoeck notes: “It is only in Marxism, the abstract and glorified concept of the proletariat, the disinherited and exploited, that a position of implacable envy is fully legitimized.” - The Augean Stables
the obvious is that Marx was not consistant on his view of Envy, Jealousy and Greed. The Post Marxists were very concerned with libidinal desire and attempted to fuse Marx with Freud. It became necessary to ask if there was a violent human reaction because of envy then existentially why must this be so? Was it inherent? Marx really resolved nothing. (image source)

How Four Influential Socialist Anti-Semites Shaped the Left

Labels: » » » » » » » » » » » » » »
"How Four Influential Socialist Anti-Semites Shaped the Left" looks at the impact that the bigotry of Karl Marx, H.G. Wells and the man who coined the word "Socialism" had on the modern left today.  Here are some excerpts from Sultan Knish
Even as the Nazi Holocaust had begun, H.G. Wells wrote in The New World Order (1940);
“The hostile reaction to the cult of the Chosen People is spreading about the entire world to-day… there has never been such a world-wide—I will not use the word anti-Semitism because of the Arab—I will say anti-Judaism… it is becoming world-wide and simultaneous… Until they are prepared to assimilate and abandon the Chosen People idea altogether, their troubles are bound to intensify.”
Hyndman founded England’s first Socialist political party, the Social Democratic Federation. He also went on to found the National Socialist Party, which eventually became part of the Labor Party.
Hyndman and the SDF’s newspaper “Justice” carried on a relentless campaign of attacks against Jews. What is unique about Hyndman is that he employed those attacks only as a cover for a larger anti-war movement.

Leroux is credited with coining the term, ‘Socialism’. He also expressed the idea of commerce as an original Jewish sin in the clearest of terms. To Leroux, banking was the original sin of the Jews. And therefore commerce was the Jewish spirit.

Fourier, the co-creator of French Socialism, would take this premise to its more explicit conclusion, writing; “Every government having regard to good morals ought to repress the Jews”.
Unlike Wells or Marx, Fourier and Leroux were not so much aspiring to a new order, as they were to a scientific application of an old order (this was more like Hitler's view of a return to a classical ideal past). A return to a pre-commercial civilization based on cooperation, rather than competition. This would be impossible if commerce were a natural human form of resource organization and distribution. So it was necessary to theorize that commerce was something alien. A creation of the Jews.

Marx depicted Jews as the anti-thesis of Socialism, a theme that he was to repeatedly revisit, and more poisonously in such essays as “The Russian Loan”, where he implicitly suggested that war would continue for as long as the Jews existed.

Hip and trendy anti-Israel hatred

Labels: » » » » » »
The IDF is shown presumably targeting Palestinian civilians with tank fire. (An  interesting moral inversion in the context of Hamas’s use of an anti-tank missile at an Israeli school bus in April.)
During the promotion of Live Aid... the cause (helping to feed starving children) would fail to move only those with the hardest hearts, what was notable in retrospect is how the song, and accompanying publicity, focused solely on helping the African victims of hunger in Ethiopia (around one million people died during the country’s 1984–1985 famine) and didn’t delve into the politics – despite the fact that the Marxist Ethiopian government’s policy of  enforced ‘resettlement’ programs, utilized as part of its counter-insurgency campaign, was one of the major causes of the starvation.
My guess is that there was a conscious decision not to wade into politics in order to protect the purely humanitarian intent of the endeavor.
Today’s efforts to aid Palestinians, whether by NGOs, professional activists, or journalist activists at the Guardian, are not only unconstrained by such considerations, but something approaching the opposite is true: The pro-Palestinian cause is almost entirely monopolized by those possessing an unmistakable desire to demonize the Jewish state.

Here we’re treated to the site of inhumane Israelis who appear to be denying entry to a Palestinian mother and her sick child:

Not only is the Israeli soldier unmoved by the mother’s pleas regarding her sick child, but, as we’ll here, the soldier is then seen striking the woman. (Notice both the expression on the face of the soldier striking the innocent woman, as well as the additional faceless Israelis behind him):

Free Palestine is CODE for KILL THE JEWS!

Lviv, Ecclesiastes and Karl Marx

Labels: » » »
Ecclesiastes 1:9: What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun...

Karl Marx: History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce.

So what is going on here? Has the old coot lost his last marble, you would ask. What is it with Lviv, Ecclesiastes and the Beard? What is Lviv, anyway, many of you may like to know, of course.
VIEW OF OLD RYNOK SQUARE IN LVIV
Well, Lviv is a city in Western Ukraine. The latter was annexed by Soviet Union in 1939 as agreed between Nazi Germany and Soviet Union in the framework of infamous Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. Since then, many a Western Ukrainian carries a chip on his/her shoulder where Russia is concerned. Not that the Ukrainians in general don't carry such a chip: most of them do, but with Western Ukraine it's kinda special. When Nazis recruited Ukrainians into their army and into local police, the response was quite enthusiastic all over, but in Western Ukraine Nazis were seen as liberators and a god's gift that will upset the Moscow commies and Judeo-masons. Oh, and incidentally, Lviv had a big Jewish population at the time: about 110,000.
It so happens that on May 9, 2011, as on every May 9 since 1945, Russians, especially ones that fought in the WWII against Nazis, visit the war memorials, bring flowers to remember the millions of Red Army soldiers fallen in that war and generally do what every veteran does on this day in Russia and around it.
Not in Lviv this time.

On Monday, violence broke out as Ukrainian protesters attempted to disrupt the May 9 celebration of the Russian victory over the Nazis.
The sickle and hammer flag was burnt and a wreath dedicated to the Soviet Red Army was destroyed.
The violence took place in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, which has a troubled history with Russia. The city was occupied by Soviet troops in 1939, and some welcomed the Nazis as liberators when they arrived two years later. Around 50 nationalists fought with riot police and one of the demonstrators was shot in the leg.
There is a clip of the violence to watch in the article, but here is another one, unfortunately only in Russian but with more ugly details:

No need to learn Russian (or Ukrainian or any other language), is there? You can see the hateful mugs of the "nationalist" youngsters, their hateful behavior and come to your own conclusions about how fitting the term "nationalist" is in this case. Another, more suitable word comes to mind.
And then I read an exceptional post by Mahmoud Salem aka Sandmonkey about another eruption of hate - the fighting between Coptic Christians and Muslims in Egypt - close to our neck of the woods.
And then I read about new adventures of Jobbik, the Hungarian neo-fascist gang party.
And then I read some new/old quotes from Hamas' Ismail Haniyeh and the trick played by Baby Assad and his Iranian sponsors on our border and ... oh well, enough for today.
Well, and on top of all this (sorry, Francis, my sincere apologies) I encountered a blogger who, being a nice and sincere socialist, tries to persuade us (look in the comments, please) that nation-states must be abolished ASAP. Which is, in general, not a bad idea. Only the timing grated a bit, seeing all of the above.
And now we can go back to were we started. You see, there is a partial agreement between Ecclesiastes and Marx: yes, they agree that history repeats itself. Only the bearded one, being an optimist, considers the second time (is it every second time, I wonder?) to be a farce. Nope, comrade Marx. As far as history goes, it's a tragedy every old time. Farce is what we read in some history books and in some science fiction stories.
If we, as humanity in toto, learn anything from history, it's rather negative: that we don't learn anything from history. Now figure the previous sentence out...
Oh, and I think we can add another (nice but fairly useless) ditty to that of comrade Marx:
Never again...

NORWAY IS THE MOST ANTI-SEMITIC COUNTRY IN THE WEST…….

Labels: » » » » » » » » » »
Hanne Nabintu Herland,
Norwegian Academic, Historian of Religions
and bestselling author. Her website is here...
Media_http2bpblogspot_sagmaThe President of Israel, Mr. Shimon Peres’ critical comments on Norways reluctancy to follow EU, UN and USA in denouncing Hamas as a terrorist movement, are timely remarks. If one adds Harvard professor Alan M. Dershowitz article in the Wall Street Journal 30. March, it all makes me ashamed to be Norwegian. Under the title “Jews are not welcome in Norway,” Mr. Dershowitz told of his encounters with anti-Semitic Norwegian academics who made it clear that he was unwanted as a guest lecturer at Norwegian universities. This is how Norwegian intellectuals treat one the West’s most famous defense lawyers and an internationally renowned Harvard University professor.
I met Dershowitz in March during Oslo Symposium 2011. His description of the obvious anti-semitism and the lack of willingness to be objective that characterizes Norwegian academia, is flat out shocking. During my opening lecture at the same Symposium Conference, I pointed out that the lack of nuances that characterizes the Norwegian understanding of the realities in Israel and the Middle East are not only shameless, but historically inacurate.
For culturally we have much more in common with the Jewish people than one would think. Western civilizational values has its cradle in the Greek and Roman contributions, but also, and especially when it comes to values, in the Hebrew-Christian contribution. The European humanistic view of the dignity of human beings regardless of rank, class or ethnicity carries deep impact from Judaism. These values are at the core of what it means to belong to Western Civilization today.
But today, Norwegians  reach far beyond the question of Palestine, and instead of supporting the only real democracy in the Middle East, namely Israel, we blackmail the Israelis in a manner as though we were still in 1939 at the time the socialist Hitler “zieg heil ” was shouted in Norway. For the Nazis were Left Wing, and came out of Germany’s Socialist Labour Party, they were not right-wing. The individuals in the Norwegian politically powerful positions that have pushed for these solely negative attitudes towards Israel for so many years, are responsible for creating a politically-correct hatred towards Jews that has made Norway the most anti-Semitic country in the West.
Norways largest newspaper VG recently showed a survey on what the Norwegian people think of the largest TV station, NRKs chronically negative covering of Israel. The question was whether the people feel that the coverage is done in an objective manner or not. 60% believed that the recent complaint by the Israeli embassy in Oslo is right in that the coverage is constantly negative towards Israel and highly biased.
When the democratic right to free thinking is restricted, and only one part of the story is told, democracy alters shape and turns into a totalitarian system of speech control. This is the situation in Norway. Today many Jews hardly dare walk on the street in Oslo without fear of being spat on, – and not from Muslims but of ethnic Norwegian misguided people who think they do the truth a service by bullying fellow human beings.

Deep injustice lie in the fact that leading opinion makers in the Norwegian system have decided not to contribute to increased knowledge of international relations, but only reflect the politically-correct Left wing dictate. During Soviet times this was called propaganda.
Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr-Store ongoing articles in international newspapers in defense of Hamas, reflects this naiveté which eventually becomes so great that one should be promoting suspicion of deliberate malice. His International Herald Tribune article February 15th is a disgrace. There is good reason to understand why parts of the Labour Party would rather have him as Minister of Health.
Then one could at least have stopped the harm this man is doing when it comes to degrading Norway’s international reputation. For Mr. Store is internationally ridiculing his own country by acting as a self-styled Hamas activist. He was recently caught lying in a live TV2 show, denying his continuous political talks with Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal. He only changed his story when the reporter told him Mr. Meshaal had spoken about his conversations with Mr. Store.
Because of the lack of political will to tell both sides of the story, Norwegians are denied objective information that could have contributed to public knowledge of the situation. The same happened in Iran in 1979 when the Marxists and other supporters of the naive dreams of the effects of armed revolutions “of the people”, hailed Khomeini. The Shah of Persia was overthrown and many Marxists shed tears of joy because the Iranian people now had their revolution. Today many also cry, but for quite other reasons.
The Norwegian medias total and uncritical celebration of the angry young men on Tahrir Square during the recent revolution in Egypt, is a similar example. It was remarkably quickly forgotten that President Mubarak at the last election had more than 80% of the population behind him. During his years in power, he enabled Egypt to become Africa’s fastest growing economy and one of the Middle East’s most expansive, secular and stable country, rated as a middle income country by the UN, with a national income per. capita increased by 40% from 2004 up till today. In recent years, Mubarak succeeded in bringing one million out of poverty and into a middle class, an accomplishment that further pushed economic growth.
Many questions can be asked when it comes to the situation in the Middle East, including Egypt. It is well known that the country has struggled with corruption, poverty and lack of religious freedom. Nevertheless, the conservative philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville observed that when the so-called dictators over time have made conditions better for their people, that is when revolutions come that often makes things worse again.
The lack of will to promote and highlight various aspects of what is really happening in Israel as well as in numerous other international issues, is thus one of the reasons why many Norwegians now stand together and push for a new course in Norwegian politics. We want an end to the propaganda and to the misleading image which is continually portrayed of Israel.

Besides being right on, she's also HOT!

NOTE: The astute Norwegian blogger at Norway Israel and the Jews has more on Hanne Herland, who participated in the March symposium in Oslo regarding Norway’s problem with anti-Semitism. via tundratabloids.com and image via mobil.ba.no
...that should ruffle some Norwegian feathers

Marxist and Muslim Meetings at Auckland University in New Zealand

Joe Carolan, center
The Marxist/Muslim alliance is a worldwide phenomenon. In New Zealand, Auckland University is a major center of this new "Axis of Evil".

On March 11, Auckland University's Marxist and radical Muslim activists got together to hold a
"2011: A year of Uprising: Middle East Freedom Forum".

Joe Carolan's Socialist Aotearoa and Students for Justice in Palestine were the main organizers, but the Communist League (NZ affiliate of the US Socialist Workers Party) also showed up with their cutesy little book stall.
Communist League stand
Other lefties in evidence included Amnesty on Campus, Oxfam, and Medical Students for Global Awareness.

Speakers included :
  • Mohsen Al-Attar - "What Arabs can learn from Malcolm X"
  • Mohamed Hassan -"The role of youth and new media in the Egyptian Revolution"
  • Rana Ghumkhor - "The importance of women during the uprisings and what the revolutions could mean for occupied lands"
  • Bilel Ragued - "North African Revolutions - a personal perspective"
  • Zaeem Baksh - "It's time, it's time, its Palestine"
Mohsen Al Attar, an Auckland University lecturer of  Canadian /Egyptian extraction, was described by one attendee as a very persuasive speaker, reminiscent almost of Van Jones. I have written extensively on Attar here, here and here.
Rana Ghumkhor, an Afghan refugee, has long been one of the most radical activists at Auckland University. She is hard core. She once wrote a short story, in the first person, telling the story of a suicide bombing on a bus outside Jerusalem.

For generations we suffered at the hands of the Zionists. Oh my insane rage vengeance will be ours, the clouds will clear and the sun will shine on us again....
I feel around in my pocket for the trigger that leads to the c4-tapped securely to my chest. I swallow the bile that had risen in my throat. I am afraid yes, I am afraid the bomb wont go off...
I clutch the trigger in my hand. I take the time to acknowledge each person in the bus. I feel the walls in my heart closing up for I feel no pity where we received none. I look out the window for the last time. The bus is coming over a hill. There lies Jerusalem in all its glory. I close my eyes and take my last breath…. Freedom...
Zaeem Baksh, has a Phd from the University of California, Berkeley, and has been active in Students for Justice in Palestine at Waikato and Auckland universities.
Speaker after speaker covered  all the usual bases;

  • Vocal and emotional support of revolutions in all the Middle East
  • Denouncement of "Apartheid Israel"
  • Encouragement to boycott all Israeli goods
  • Marxist-style anti-rich sentiment ("Why did we elect a $21 million prime minister?")
  • Calls for the immediate removal of troops from Afghanistan (NZ troops)
  • Anti-American sentiment, particularly perceived American imperialism

Following the "Middle East Freedom Forum", there was a student-led vigil in the quad, held in honor of the "thousands of students and citizens who have died protesting for freedom and democracy across North Africa and the Middle East in the last few weeks".
Marxist Green Party MP Keith Locke also turned up. After supporting Pol Pot's invasion of Cambodia, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the murderous Philippines New Peoples Army, Irish Republicanism, the Palestinian Intifada and countless other Marxist and terrorist causes over the years, wild camels couldn't have kept him away.
A fun night of incitement to mayhem and socialist revolution was had by all!

Michael Moore Says We Aren't In Debt. For a WHILE THERE I THOUGHT WE WERE IN DEBT 15 TRILLION

Labels: » » » » » »

Wealth belongs not to those who create it, not to those who own it, but to The People, to be distributed as corrupt, power-drunk bureaucrats see fit. Take it from one of liberalism’s most influential mouthpieces, Michael Moore:
Really Rich Michael Moore Says All Wealthy Americans’ Money is Not Theirs It’s ‘Ours’

As for the mountain of money Moore has amassed with his anti-American propaganda films, that is not a national resource — it’s his.
On tips from Milton and BURNING HOT. Hat tips: The BlazeMichelle Malkin via Moonbattery
Sultan Knish explains reality:
The Threat of Government Power
The top 10 wealthiest men and women in America barely have 250 billion dollars between them. That sounds like a lot of money, until you look at annual Federal budgets which run into the trillions of dollars, and the country’s national debt which approaches 15 trillion dollars. And that’s not taking into account state budgets. Even Rhode Island, the smallest state in the union, with a population of barely a million, has a multi-billion dollar budget.
As the 10th richest man in America, Michael Bloomberg wields a personal fortune of a mere 18 billion dollars, but as the Mayor of the City of New York, he disposes of an annual budget of 63 billion dollars. In a single year, he disposes of three times his own net worth. A sum that would wipe out the net worth of any billionaire in America. That is the difference between the wealth wielded by the 10th wealthiest man in America, and the mayor of a single city. And that is the real concentration of wealth. Not in the hands of individuals, but at every level of government, from the municipal to the state houses to the White House. (Read it all, here)

Che Guevara's Motorcycle Diaries Granado Dies

Alberto Granado met Che Guevara when the two were children
Alberto Granado in Havana, Cuba - 3 October 2007
Alberto Granado, the motorcycle companion of Ernesto Che Guevara, has died in Cuba at the age of 88.
The pair's eight-month journey around Latin America was immortalised in the 2004 film The Motorcycle Diaries.
The journey, begun in 1951, exposed the two medical students to deep poverty and social injustice and awoke Guevara's revolutionary convictions.
After helping Fidel Castro overthrow Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1959, Guevara invited Granado to Cuba.
Cuban state media said he died of natural causes in Havana.
After arriving in Cuba in 1961, Granado taught biochemistry at Havana University.
His body is to be cremated and according to his wishes, the ashes are to be spread in Cuba, Argentina and Venezuela, Cuban television said.
Granado was born in Cordoba, Argentina, on 8 August 1922 and met Guevara as a child.
The film of their travels around Latin America on the motorcycle they called La Poderosa - The Powerful - was based on diaries both men kept.
Che Guevara was killed in Bolivia in 1967 as he tried to lead a revolution there.
In the 2004 film, Granado was played by Argentine actor Rodrigo De la Serna. Gael Garcia Bernal played Che.
I wonder if he was as much a bigot as Che was?

FOX Claims Penélope Cruz Will Bear “Anchor Baby,” Latino Republicans Protest

Labels: » » » » » » » » » »

Our political discourse suffers from an impasse prohibiting genuine progress. That impasse is political correctness or, more accurately, cultural Marxism. It is the priority of emotion over reason. It is the assertion that, if someone is offended by an argument or the language used to articulate it, the argument is inherently incorrect. It is a retarding force upon intellect.
Political correctness is an effective force because most decent people do not want to offend and will make what seem to be reasonable concessions in order to maintain civility. There is also a tendency to confuse arguments based on emotion with arguments appealing to emotion. For instance, the argument against the Ground Zero Mosque appeals to the emotional impact its construction will have upon survivors of the Islamist attacks of September 11, 2001. That is not the argument’s basis, however. If Imam Rauf’s claim that he desires to build bridges between the West and Islam is correct, his insistence upon a course which agitates is illogical.
Political correctness is used like a sucker punch to unduly handicap one side of a debate. It is a tactic which emerged from the Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School in the early 20th century, with the objective of destroying our existing culture. We must therefore wonder why an ostensibly conservative organization would employ the tactic.
¡Somos Republicans!, a Hispanic group, has taken issue with Fox News Latino’s use of the term “anchor baby” in a headline referencing actress Penélope Cruz. She and husband Javier Bardem are opting to deliver their son in the United States rather than in Spain.
[Journalist Christina] Tárrega explained that the actors’ wish is for their son to have dual citizenship, and since the two own an estate in Hollywood — and Spain grants citizenship to foreign born if a parent is born in Spain — it is quite a convenient situation.
The citizenship status of Cruz and Bardem is not reported. Their status is relevant toward determining whether or not Fox News Latino’s use of the term “anchor baby” is accurate. However, ¡Somos Republicans!’ objection is not based on this criteria.
The term “anchor baby” is equivalent to other defamatory terms such as “wetback”, “pickaninny” and “tar baby”.  Media outlets should never use these demeaning terms in connection with precious babies, and it is unfortunate that we have to inform FOX News of this when they are typically viewed as conservative.
Next: The difference between defamatory and descriptive…
