Environmental experts say that the flow of the Jordan River has been reduced by about 98% since 1930, due to the diversion of water for agriculture and industry. Israeli use accounts for about half the water loss, and the rest is fairly evenly divided between Jordan and Syria. Very little water has been diverted by “Palestine”.
