Representatives of the Israeli Union of Performing Artists wrote a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, characterizing Gilad Shalit's captivity as "the most painful issue at the center of our lives."
The representatives, who also visited the Shalit protest tent in Jerusalem, added that they believe Netanyahu is doing everything possible to return Shalit home.
