While Israel was one of the first countries to deploy to Haiti to help relief efforts there–and, in fact, the Israeli mobile unit set up on a football field is essentially the only working hospital in Haiti–extremist Muslims and the Church of Scientology are engaged in far weaker efforts in Haiti that are somewhat frightening.

This for Israel is good to be seen in a positive light by the media… but I’m sure it’s back breaking. They always pay in blood. What they are doing isn’t about faith in their religion… it is grunt work I’m sure. As for the cultish stuff being pushed that is noted in Debbie's post… wtf is wrong with these trolls? it’s a frigg’n disaster… not a marketing opportunity. for certain you see a moment to shine in the international community, but your objective is saving lives, not conversion. Saving lives for public relations is fine, as long as you are saving lives and not using a soap box when people are dying.
