Bill Ayers Admits He Wrote Obama's "Dreams From My Father" -- Just "Some Guy From the Neighborhood"??

Labels:

During the Democrat Presidential hopefuls' debate in Philadelphia held on April 16, 2008, the subject of Obama's relationship with William Ayers came up. Hillary was quite concerned about this relationship with Ayers, the unrepentent domestic terrorist-bomber. Candidate Obama answered by casually describing Ayers as merely "a guy who lives in my neighborhood," but "not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis." Mr. Obama said he was being unjustly linked to "somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old."
As it turns out, Mr. Obama knew this unrepentent terrorist quite a bit better than he let on. William Ayers has now admitted to blogger Anne Leary that it was he who wrote (not just edited) Obama's book, "Dreams From My Father." Anne Leary's blog entry about Ayers is now on the front page of the Chicago Daily Observer.
Mr. Obama, we think you have some 'splainin to do -- about how someone you allegedly barely knew according to your statements was so intimate a friend that he actually wrote "Dreams From My Father." Also, some 'splainin about why you stated during the campaign to a crowd of teachers in Virginia, "I've written two books. I actually wrote them myself!" The only explanation can be that either Mr. Obama or Mr. Ayers is lying. I'll put my money on the proven American! Joe Wilson was right!!
It is now irrefutable that Ayers wrote Obama's book. The following material is from Jack Cashill who first pieced together evidence that it was Ayers who wrote Obama's book.
"In this regard, in Christopher Andersen’s new best-seller, "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage," Andersen relates how at the urging of Michelle, a “hopelessly blocked” Obama turned to “friend and neighbor” Bill Ayers to help him with his much acclaimed 1995 memoir, Dreams From My Father. Andersen’s details are specific. The Obamas were convinced of “Ayers’s proven abilities as a writer.” Barack particularly liked the novelistic style of To Teach, a 1993 book by Ayers. The key sentence in Andersen’s account is the one that follows: “These oral histories, along with his partial manuscript and a trunkload of notes were given to Ayers.” Adds Andersen, “Thanks to help from veteran writer Ayers, Barack would be able to submit a manuscript to his editors at Times Book.”
We have some friendly advice to the author, Bill Ayers: Stay out of Ft. Marcy Park!
