If you ever thought Mondoweiss' rejection of Israel starts from pacifism and an aversion to militarism and wars, think again. Philip Weiss has just published a paean to a Palestinian sniper who shot 11 Israelis in 2002. It's quite simple: Weiss is an enemy of Israel. Not a critic, not allergic to Israel, an enemy at time of war.
Martin Peretz, the longtime owner and editor-in-chief of The New Republic, mused on his blog, The Spine, whether Muslim Americans “are worthy of the privileges of the First Amendment which I have in my gut the sense that they will abuse.’’
Greetings puny Earthlings. MoxArgon Xplains: Islamophobia
Coming under criticism, Peretz backtracked. “I wrote that,’’ he acknowledged, “but I do not believe that.’’ However, Peretz reiterated his equally offensive claim that “Muslim life is cheap, most notably to Muslims,’’ which he called “a statement of fact, not value.’’ Nor did he apologize for writing that the Palestinians are “a fictional people.’’

Definitely Tautological. There are most certainly correlatives in the law where first Amendment Rights are denied to arrested criminals. "You have a right to remain silent... Anything you say or do can be held against you." ...um sound familiar? What Mondowiess does here is slanderous. If it is indeed Islam that is attacking us the First Amendment Rights are Limited
