Rape
(Egypt) A 50 year old women who stopped on a dark night in which to ask directions from a couple of Policemen in Egypt found herself dragged out of her car,thrown into the back of their police van and gang-raped. What makes this story even more unusual is that the victim not only made a complaint she went on national TV. wearing a full body covering (Niquab) in which to air her story.

The U.N. quoted Egypt's Interior Ministry as saying that 20,000 women or girls raped every year, a figure that is likely low because an underestimation most likely considering victims rarely come forward fearing social stigma.
The woman said she felt compelled to come forward as a warning for others.
"I am sacrificing my reputation by telling the story ... to protect every girl, every woman who may trust a police van. I tell them now, if you see a police van, you must be very careful," she said. "I want the officials to know what policemen do to the people. Even now, I still can't believe or comprehend that these were policemen."
Of course this been a righteous and Islam country, when she first made her complaint at the end of July the local press tried to pass this story off as just a prostitute complaining over getting picked up. Yup as in other conservative religious countries (read Islamic) they don't have rapes only women who complain too much. However this brave old girl was having none of this and defying the Islamic custom of remaining silent she went on national TV in which to press her case.
Mind you she got off lightly consider the case of Egyptian taxis driver Emad el-Kabir who on being arrested was taken into a backroom of the local police station and anally raped by the police with a truncheon. He was then jailed for 3 months for wait for it...resisting arrest.. Anyway one of the policemen taped the incident on his mobile phone and posted it on the net...big mistake. Just think if the liberals and such get their way and the Muslim Brotherhood get into power, it would be utter MADNESS for anybody to take the Nightboat to Cairo.
